This is the wiki article on the F100 that powers the F15:

Every worthwhile project has teething problems. Is the current F100-PW-229 that powers the f15E and F15K 70's tech? It was first developed in the 60's... Is it irrelevent today? The Al31 on the MKI started development in the 70's as well.
ok then what generation will you put the plane at? why are all the chinese
members too embarrased to answer this simple question?

Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! India doesn't have a 130kN thrust engine! It doesn't even HAVE AN ENGINE OPERATIONAL!!!!! Even France doesn't have an engine of over 130kN, the Snecma powering the rafale delivers a poultry 75kN, not Sweden not South Korea, not Japan. Stop guessing.Only Russia, the states and China have an engine of the WS10A's class.

Pathetic.

These countries all have 4th gen engine. Give me a link about
WS-10 class engine so far you have given nothing.

The J11B is by American Standards, a 4th gen jet. So is the J10. What's so embarassing about that? Do you have a 4th gen jet operational? Not to mention a 5th gen jet flying? Please look up 4th gen fighters on your own and stop exposing your limited knowledge on the topic.

Name them...

Lethalforce, I'm bored with you now. If you doubt what I've posted, LOOK IT UP!!! There are no other counties other than the 3 I've mentioned that have developed a fighter jet engine with thrust higher than 27000lbf. NONE. The French and Europeans (eurofighter consortium) operate engines in the F414 class, that's it...

What 5th gen plane do you have flying? Give me a link it 's 4th gen
again nothing. Also a link about what radar is in the J11?
Excerpt:
The Chengdu J-20 (Jian-20; simplified Chinese: 歼-二十; traditional Chinese: 殲-二十; pinyin: Jiān èr shí) is a purported[5] fifth-generation, stealth, twin-engine fighter aircraft prototype developed by Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group for the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF).
There are only 4 5th gen fighters flying today, one of which is Chinese. Surely not even on DFI would anyone question China's possession of a flying 5th gen prototype. Please dont be pathetic enough to claim that China has no 5th gen jets.

The J11A is basically an Su27SK with everything on it being Russian, including its radar. No one knows what radar is on the J11B. Not even whether its a pulse-doppler, PESA or AESA. I wont speculate. But you're free to. Stop being lazy and for once LOOK THINGS UP.
