There is a lot d hype and expectation as India has been touted as the better placed side to take the series with Australia being a shadow of its former self.
India is yet to win a test series down under.
The first day may be disrupted by rain as per forecast.

They are professionals. They are expected to play. They earn millions of dollars through cricket. If they feel tired, they can always take a break and some youngster can get a chance. The truth is, it's money and not the love of cricket that many players even hide injury. It was proved during IPL.

Too much cricket is an excuse for bad performance.Now no one takes Test Cricket serious since they can earn much more in few hours of plays in IPL.Aussies also play lot of cricket.

btw... Dhoni should come back with his team if this is how they are going to perform.The "I won World Cup" should not be an excuse to ignore the humiliating whitewash in England and now beizzati in Australia.... it's really disappointing to see how the seniors have performed.... how long the players would be retained just because they want to end their career with some record.

Unless something dramatic and miraculous happens, we are looking at a huge innings defeat. Warner made a mockery of the Indian bowlers and the total put up.

Dhoni cannot be blamed for continuous batting collapses.

Those calling for seniors to go, please point me towards worthy replacements. Kohli, Raina and Rohit (one dayers) have failed in all the chances they have got.

Unless we retire seniors we wont know the replacements, rebuilding is a slow process we cant expect it to happen overnight. Need to have patience boss.
Talking about retiring seniors, lets start with Sachin.

Its better to lose with youngsters in team rather than having 4 seniors and still lose the games. Its time for their exit - dravid, sachin, VVS.

I think India needs aggressive fast bowlers who can ball consistently at 140-150 KMPH. Indian bowlers have never been pace batteries and power machines. I have never seen a team who fear Indian bowling attack.
