Yes what an Ops....killing 166 innocent - unarmed civilians who were murdered in broad day light protected by a wuss of a Govt. GOI (led by Congress), who kept all the security of their own families and allowed 11 porki madrasa educated pigs with AKs to go on a killing spree!! Simply great!

What high value targets they neutralized innocent kids and women....wow....by your standards "Taliban" has to be the best at conducting special ops., as they have not just Blown pakistani GHQ, but blown many isi and army installations....and not to forget that they caught many pukki army officers and isi agents alive and then decapitated them!

For Pak, innocent or all Indians are high Value Targets. For us only select Few in Pureland (Dawood, lakhvi etc) are High Value Targets. They got their targets, we couldn't.

Well frankly I dont consider this possible,what was the exact role of Pakistani administration,its military and ISI in this Geronimo operation is still not clear.

Even if it was a single handed US operation,the risk is worthy because Pakistani's wont dare shooting American's back,but it is not the same with India,at any time the operation went wrong we r getting into a big risk.

American's wont dare performing such a mission deep inside Cuba or Russia,the same is with India wrt Pakistan.

Such mission's are not possible unless you r not Mossad.

The enemy then would think it to be futile to shoot down an aircraft or have an aggressive posture, and lie low. This is what happened on May 1. Coupled with the fact that Pakistan runs into even deeper mess with terrorists eating up the country.

If Pakistan gets out of denial mode and starts acting against all terrorists groups, no operation would be required. They can clean it up, they need the will.

"2020" is a very elusive date. At first, it was 1980 (with Pakistan's nuke tests in the 80's and Brasstacks, it was pushed to 2000), then 2000 (by then, Pakistan had the nuclear delivery capability to any part of India, and was starting to get planes with BVR capability, pushing that date to 2020), now 2020 (probably a date when India has a functional missile shield, a large fleet of light tanks, an ASAT system, and 5th generation fighters).

Unless something really terrible happens to Pakistan, don't expect that gap to widen beyond a critical point where India can be termed qualitatively and quantitatively superior. We will always be chasing that imaginary date.

Our enemies will surely have Pakistan improvedly armed in proportion as well. There seems no end to the race with this nation of 15 % size as ours.
Pakistan today is a bogeyman kept alive on steroids by many to fight for their cause. Not healthy for sure, but it will be kept alive and dangerously armed.

What we need to do is to develop covert operation capability. Make RAW strong in Pak as well as in Afghanistan. A killer squad like Mosad to be formed to terminate top terrorist leaders by means of explosion or shooting. Just need to recruit shooters locally available. It is not such a BIG deal to wait so long, just the political will is required.
