Nope, MTA just like C-130 and C-17s are for additional capabilities. You don't replace a 7 tonne payload transport aircraft with a 20 tonne payload transport aircraft. IAF suffers from a chronic lack of airdrop aircraft despite the fact that India armed forces have more than 20,000 paratroopers.

why not if 1 MTA is doing work and carrying cargo of 3 AN32, and it's multirole so it can be use paradrop missions.
