The 10-day drill code named "hand in hand" would be formally inaugurated tomorrow at a designated area close to Chengdu city.

Anti Terrorist Drill?

China has no terrorists or so one is told.

Is China to help India to fight Maoists?

Whatever, it would be a good holiday.

Chengdu is a nice place,

1. Most countries call their land combat drills "anti-terrorism drills" now. Russia's Zapad drills were "anti-terrorism drills" even though they were brigade-sized combined-arms operations including ballistic missile launches. That being said, the contingent size (150) does suggest a light-infantry focus, which may or may not center on terrorist activities.

2. Saudi Arabia (including non-governmental Saudi 'charities') is actually, by dollar amount and manpower, the largest global supporter of what you and I would define as terrorism (r.f. Libya, Syria, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Boston, 9/11, etc.). Pakistan may sponsor more terrorism against India, but not across the world.

Part of the reason China is inviting India is to send Pakistan a subtle message following the terrorist attack at Tiananmen.

India should not be used as a balance to Pakistan & its terrorist activities in Xinjiang.

Then we can have a idea about how expert Chinese troops are from this joint exercise as well as how effective is India's INSAS compared to China's Type 95.

Cant we not hold joint air exercise between IAF and PLAAF like we do with US in Cope India and with Russia in Rajasthan with Tanks, BMPs like Indra?

so the invitation was prepared just now or China knew about pakistans plans in the past??

Either way this is illogical...

China is trying to safeguard itself as pakistan is on verge to implode.

Next time when a terrorist comes into China the PLA will sing Gazal and dance Bhangra !!!

While we can take a beer and pop corn and watch how their troopers scream when the Pakinitani Terrorists :shoot: screw them :pound:

INDIA-CHINA ARMY EXERCISE HAND-IN-HAND

Two things,

The Chinese are over enthusiastic as they are clapping their hands (or performing as instructed?)

They are wearing different shoes. in combat uniform they are wearing a different shoe (Similar to ours) and in trainings (or sporting) they are wearing a different ones...
@Ray Sir how about our Army?? are we providing only one type of shoe or there are different types for different occasions??
