with a heavy heart posting this here...Sad
A fcked paki anchor referred to DFI to defame IA

Qureshi is a known pro-Pak and anti-India disinformation agent. These are the kind of people that are talk show personalities in Pakland.

Please refer to what this guy does as his job as an anti-India agent :

Web of Deceit: Cafe Pyala's Expose of Internet Propaganda

The blog Cafe Pyala recently published an incredible expose of the tangled web of deceit an Internet propaganda ring being run by a group of supposed journalists (original in full below the jump). Far from the conspiracy theories that are relentlessly promoted on several of the blogs that have been exposed, the work of the bloggers at Cafe Pyala shows what investigative journalism is all about – looking at the facts and connecting the dots. It also serves as an important reminder that readers must always consider the source of news, and whether the journalists or publication are reporting facts or simply political talking points.

According to the independent research of the bloggers at Cafe Pyala and their readers, there is a long list of blogs and Internet news sites that appear to have been set up by at least two individuals – Moin Ansari and Ahmed Quraishi – under false addresses and company names for the purpose of spreading a particular political message and attacking those with whom they disagree. Many of these websites appear to have been taken down following their exposure, more evidence that Cafe Pyala's findings were correct. The list includes:

TheDawn.com.pk
Daily Mail Post
Pakistan Ledger
Rupee News
Pakistan Patriot
Today's News
Pakistan Independent
The Pakistan Times
Khalistan Times
Times of Kabul
Hindustan Globe
Times of Bombay
The Delhi Times
Dacca Times
The Daily Mail Times
Bharat Globe
Pakistan Akhbar
Musalman Times
Views Times

Ahmed Quraishi is relatively well known to Pakistan Media Watch readers, as he has been exposed several times by this blog for his pseudo-journalistic work as a political consultant – a fact that Quraishi himself does not dispute. And while some of the other pseudo-journalists exposed by Cafe Pyala like Moin Ansari are less well-known outside of conspiracy blog circles, the practice of using journalism as a cover for political operations extends well beyond these exposed websites. Connections with intelligence agencies run deep in parts of the media, and it is often difficult to decipher what is true and what is merely propaganda.

He also encourages his viewers and fans to make up false propaganda which is beneficial to Pakland.

Screenshots related to his Facebook page where he urges Pakis to do that are in this post :

So, there is no real informational value quoting such retards here, rather it is best suited to the Pak idiotic musings thread.

Bakistani Chu**yas are doing good work in Bakistan to demean IA's efforts, so does our own Media houses. There must be a basic hygiene on news reporting. Time for a regulatory framework for false and misleading depiction of events by News Agencies. These guys are messing up everything.
Please refrain from giving Ahmed Qureshi a new name. I have already coined a name or him many weeks back and his name is ''Gandu".

He can do all the propaganda he wants. He is making things up since he was born. He even made up that his dad is an Arab but actually an Indian Hindu.

The raid has rattled Pakistani rumps and they are going to make their population more and more confused with misleading information for which they will then pay the price in long run. People like this gnadu are helping us as they will groom more idiots who will then come out to challenge Indian arguments by using same moronic propaganda.
..........................................................................................................

That ISI rat Paraveen Swami was explaining every detail of that Terrorist Boat on fire incident including the pictures and videos guided by ( self bestowed) moral duty to present real News for sake of larger interest o the nation. Here ended up posting pictures without Indian army's consent for which GOI spokesperson has to come out and deny.

I have hinted it before and would like to dig it more that this time media crooks knew GOI has done a great job so they started creating an unnecessarily hype, same they did in Nepal after seeing Modi has scored big.

First they were undermining Modi governments achievements but now over hyping or over doing the same. The end result is same that is to put Modi government in a tight spot even at the cost of its relationships with friendly countries.

The link I posted of NDTV Barkha Dutt's discussion on this incident, the very first guest who was sitting besides her clearly blamed Congress-I's apathy and disinterest of not keeping tab on multiple factors from changing insurgency character, local alliances to tactical level incompetence of not looking after border security grid; was the real reason behind these increase vulnerabilities.

Burkha Dutta as usual after listening to Congress-I's mistakes had esophageal reflux; she steered away to another guest to swallow back what she regurgitated but not vomited.

60,000 sq km of jungles where only ‘Baba’ Khaplang matters

What is perhaps one of the last untamed and ungoverned tracts in the world — the mountainous and heavily forested areas of Myanmar bordering India — has been in the news recently for the two surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army on June 8 to ‘neutralise’ insurgents who had killed 18 soldiers in an ambush in Manipur’s Chandel district on June 4.

Spanning a length of about 1,300 km north from across Arunachal Pradesh to the south across Manipur, and about 50 km in width till the Chindwin river in Myanmar, the region is about 60,000 sq km in size.

“The Myanmar government has no control in the region. There are no public facilities like roads, hospitals or schools. Whatever few schools are there are run by the independence fighters,” says an insurgent leader who lived, trained and fought in this area for nearly a decade before being involved in negotiation talks with New Delhi.

The region is home to deadly guerrilla fighters divided into many groups on the basis of ethnicity, region and the language they speak. It is also infested with the deadliest of insects and wild plants which can cause deep rashes if touched.

It is from here that the insurgents from Assam, Manipur and Nagaland of the more than 50 groups make their hit-and-run strikes before running back to the Myanmar side for safety. It is here that many insurgent camps are based where the cadres are taught the art of warfare and ideologically indoctrinated.

“Impregnable forests and mountainous terrains — it is ideal for guerrilla warfare. There is no codified law here, only Baba’s word is law in the parts inhabited by Nagas,” the leader said referring to SS Khaplang, the leader of one of the main factions of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland - Khaplang (NSCN-K).

'Baba' — another word for a venerable elderly person — evokes respect, reverence and fear in equal measure in this region. The word actually gained coinage after the Assamese fighters from the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) started frequenting the area consequently setting up a strong presence.

Only three leaders have been conferred the exalted status of ‘Baba’ — all hailing from the NSCN-K. “Till the ULFA went there, the topmost leader was referred to by the locals as ‘Apa’ or father. While ‘Baba’ now almost always refers to just Khaplang, two others — Baba Kareng and Khole Konyak — were also called Baba. Khaplang’s word is law in the parts inhabited by Nagas,” the leader adds.

Rajeev Bhattacharyya, one of the very few journalists to have trekked across the region for four months and who wrote a travelogue 'Rendezvous with the Rebels' on his return, says: “People live a life based on subsistence farming and hunting. One’s occupation is either food gathering or jhum cultivation. A monetised economy is still growing which was not there until a decade ago.”

“With no electricity, there is a conspicuous presence of solar panels in a few homes to harness energy, which I found to be quite an incongruity in such a remote area,” he adds.

At border village, recalling Army’s Myanmar operation: ‘We heard shooting, explosions… boom, boom, boom’
The Indian Express
esha roy2 hours ago
http://www.msn.com/en-in/news/natio...losions…-boom-boom-boom’/ar-BBl6xp5?ocid=iehp

In this last Indian village in Manipur’s Ukhrul district, there is no telling where India ends and Myanmar begins. The boundary is not demarcated visibly, and the small teak huts standing on wooden stilts could be in either country. On the morning of June 9, sleepy, isolated Phaikoh was jolted by the sounds of Indian soldiers attacking Naga militant camps in the area in retaliation against the June 4 ambush of the 6 Dogra Regiment.

“Suddenly, we heard a lot of shooting and bombs going off in the near distance. Boom, boom, boom. We were wondering what was happening. We didn’t see any soldiers go through our village or in the surrounding jungles. We assume they must have gone very quietly at night, on foot,” 55-year-old Hemlet Guite, a village elder, said.

It was approximately 8 in the morning when Phaikoh first heard the “sounds of the battle” — around the time its 16 schoolchildren had just begun classes at the village school.

“We did see them coming back, though,” Guite said. “In the afternoon, it must have been two or three o’clock, a stream of Indian Army soldiers started walking into the village. Then the helicopters started coming. They landed on our football field, and the soldiers started to get on. It looked as though there were at least a hundred soldiers. There were two helicopters, and each made three trips. Some of the soldiers left on foot,’’ Guite added.

Sixty-five-year-old Hemkhoshei, a minister of the village council, said it was the first time he saw an Army chopper. “I was very excited. One Armyman told me to shut my eyes because there would be a lot of dust as the machine landed,” he laughed.

Sauntering easily into Myanmarese territory, stepping over the shallow, muddy trench that marks the border, Hemkhoshei pointed to the grey-blue hill rising above the treetops, its peak surrounded by wispy white clouds.

“That is Angko Chingbo hill,” he said. It is about 15 km inside Myanmar. The UNLF, PLA and KYKL have their camps there. That is where the Army went that day.

“We have heard that nothing is left of the PLA camp now. But we do not know if the Army managed to reach the UNLF camp. It is on the other side of the mountain, and very difficult to reach,” Hemkhoshei added. According to him, the PLA camp had more than a hundred residents.

Residents of Phaikoh said insurgents often travelled to border villages on the Indian side “for patrolling”. Cadres of the UNLF were the most frequent visitors, they said.

“They come at least once a month, sometimes more often. They talk to us, eat their lunch, and go back. But we never have to feed them. They give us money to buy rice, and cook for themselves. Twenty, or even 40 insurgents come at a time. We haven’t seen any since Tuesday (June 9), though,” said Janghen Jangkhohem, secretary of the village council.

Guite said the villagers have a good rapport with the UNLF. “There is no doctor or pharmacy in the village. So the UNLF insurgents sometimes give us medicines. Malaria is endemic here, and they often hold medical camps in the village, to which they bring a doctor. In return, they ask us for information — on who comes here, and what we hear about the Army. Last Christmas, the UNLF gave us money to buy a pig or cow for a feast,” Guite said.

Hemkhoshei said UNLF cadres sometimes held meetings with the village council or elders. “They talk to us of development... roads, better schools, medical facilities, electricity. They have told us that they would help us get all these things,” he said.

No resident of Phaikoh has ever visited any of the camps, however. What they know about them is based on what they have heard from friends in Myanmar who visit the camps to sell their wares to the insurgents. “Since Tuesday, Myanmar has completely sealed off the border. We can’t even go to Mongjang, the neighbouring village on the other side. But hopefully, the restrictions will be lifted soon,” Guite said.

Across a range of three hills closer to the Indian side of the border, at the village of Nampisha, villagers recalled the happenings of June 9.

“Helicopters were flying in and out. Huge helicopters. We could here gunfire in the distance. We gathered at the church and I told my congregation to pray. I warned them not to stray far from the village. Not to even go out hunting. To just stay indoors and pray,” said pastor Akhui Kamkara.

The 44 Assam Rifles has an outpost at Nampisha, villagers said, and they had tightened their vigil. No one was going towards Phaikoh, villagers said.

@hit&run @Kunal Biswas

Please ignore what the idiot Qureshi has to say. The guy talks in an American accent when he was born, raised and educated in Kuwait, ffs his education was in Arabic medium school's. I remember in a debate with Mr. Parthasarthy, he called Qureshi as "the young man with an American accent", Qureshi's reaction to it was legendary. First like a wannabe he talk's in an American accent when he hasn't spent a lot of time there and then when someone point's that out he goes nut's like a monkey.

Take it as around 04:30 LMT - a good time to start firing when the dawn is about to break out ! Four hours to walk back to extrication point. It is around 08:00 when the villagers hear the sound of helicopter who have come to extricate the team.
