INDIAN RUPEE SYMBOL : FONT for Download and How to Use it

Step by Step Guide:

1. Download the Rupee font from blog.foradian.com


2. Copy the file, where ever you have saved it, and paste it in C:/Windows/Font folder. In my case, I saved it in Desktop, as you can see in the image




3. Open a Blank/New Word document, type the key in the keyboard which is just above the Tab key, and which looks like `. Now Right Click on it and select fonts as in the image below


4. Select Font: Rupee Foradian and click OK. Bingo! you are done!!!



To use it in MS Excel, please do the following:

5. Open a Blank/New Excel document, type the key in the keyboard which is just above the Tab key, and which looks like `. Now Right Click on it and select Format Cells... as in the image below


6. Map it to Rupee Foradian, and you are done

Simply selecting "Install" for a font file installs it (copies to the Fonts folder, registers it).
