I believe that is taken as granted. And which is why we are discussing quad packing of SAMs and maybe even fillers for Nirbhay.

The term universal VLS was started by the Chinese as a propaganda to make their system seem like it was better than what it really was. It is good to nip it in the bud here before it goes any further. There is at least one Chinese member who still thinks they actually have a universal container and tried very hard to convince us otherwise.

Well the actual module of such is installed on Kolkata classes for BrahMos. 2 missile per cell, stored in the separate lid.

I hope the VLS will be designed from the outset with a quick at sea reloading capability. This should be done preferably by automated systems without much human interaction.
