India doesn't even have a carrier battle group, so its carrier stays close to shore just like the chinese until they have mastered the art of carrier battle operations. Its not easy to do. Hence your carrier cannot project power. Its a sitting duck for pakistan subs and dare I say chinese made anti ship missiles..
