navy chief says 200 fighters by decade end. well 45 mig-29 are done and now remaining 155 jets. i hope lca takes a bigger pie in it.
the fleet should be such that it is capable of carrying out precision strike with good efficiency. these aircrafts should be purchased/developed with china in mind and not pakistan.

Where is the 40 N-MRCA coming from?
What is the Navy doing, having more aircraft types than the Indian Airforce while having 1/3rd the aircrafts?
I simply cannot fathom, a Navy could go same of different type, when all over the world, standardization is the mantra?
I dont think so, Navy is far too a pragmatic an organization to let that happen.

I think it already is in the testing phase. I am talking of the future carriers by the way.
