0. Bright Indian flag at helmet is very eye catching ..
1. Using 1B1`s addons would have been suit better like Red dot sight and Long range Optics for marksmen, These are now available to units ..
2. Keeping Waki taki inside magazine pouch is not required as their are other places for it over vest ..

Helemts r nt neither new one nor eye catching..yes gears hs improved bt tifel & helmts r same

Would it possible for someone with knowledge of standard battle gear of IA, post a pic of standard battle gear. This should help me as a reference point.

I am bit confused now a days because almost every exercise they are carrying different battle gear, and am finding no consistency among them.

Older plate carrier with Magazine pouches, Modifications to the vest makes it more uncomfortable than existing once ..

The good thing about our INSAS rifles is that they have camouflaged the orange furniture on the rifle, the uniform too picture knee and elbow pads... :clap:

The bad thing is that the metallic part of the rifles had poor black paint thats wearing off and showing up the shiny metal underneath the coat.... :fp:

Can any one start a thread on battle gears? About what IA and other forces around the world uses and what would be best for Indian forces.

it seems the camo fabric was used to wrap the bright colored Handguard and gunstock.

Indian Army might have some regulations for the cartridge case collection at the Shooting range

the case collection bag is not the standard accessory of QBZ95 rifle but the QBZ95-1.. it's works well on the QBZ95 too.

Thanks for the pictures.I would like to ask one thing - why is none of the PLA soldiers wearing any body armor??Isn't body armor a standard fit for the PLA soldiers??

the soft fiber material has limited using-life especially under the sun-shine. on the otherhand , china might be largest Bulletproof Vest manufacturer/Exporter in the world...the strategy is simple-- emergency production with the existing massive production capacity(both State owned and Private manufacturer) instead of expensive time-limited reserve stock.
