The Arjun Mk2's frontal Slat armour seems different. Looks like Ajeya Mk2's frontal armour. HNS steel?

Yes that's Combat Improved Ajeya

These are NERA modules at front of the chassis of Arjun MK2 & At the turret its ERA MK2 which went on to T-72 upgrade also ..
