Indian Armed Forces Fictional Scenarios

I start this thread to post fictional scenarios related to Indian armed forces

here is mine:

Year 2016. Country of Bithuania, in the African continent is in the grips of self proclaimed rule of the terrorist outfit "mungu wa watu"(god's men in Swahili),often abbreviated as mw2.
Its leader is Vincent faram,who has declared a war against the entire world,with his men carrying out terror strikes,suicide bombing,kidnappings etc around the world.
UN has called for a large scale peace keeping mission to be led into Bithuania. The previous efforts of various organizations to supply relief materials to Bithuania's dying civilians has been futile, Vincent farma's Bithuanian Air force already having shot down two Xian Y-7 cargo aircrafts from China,has kidnapped and executed 67 member relief team from Europe. Indian Air Force's 2 Il-76 aircrafts made a narrow escape from the Bithuanian Air force MiG 21s with the timely help from USS Enterpise's F/A-18 super Hornets.
All these actions led to UN unilaterally calling for military action in Bithuania. The Russian Navy launched its naval commandoes to Bithuania and successfully rescued the kidnapped Russian embassy personnel. The returning rescue force was engaged by the meager Bithuanian Navy,as a result of which within a few minutes,the entire Bithuanian navy was sitting in the bottom floor of the ocean.
Provoked by the shooting down of its Aircrafts,once the UN clearance was give,china's PLAN send its Aircraft carrier LIangmin to Bithaunian cost. Its aircraft quickly destroyed the entire Bithuanian Air force which consisted of 4 Mig-21s and a dozen Mil Mi-4 helicoters. PLAN was soon accompanied by naval fleets of USA+NATO,India,Pakistan,Brazil and South korea.

Even though the Airforce and Navy was easily neutralized,Bithuanian Army was tough nut to crack. Consisting entirely of terrorists and not of soldiers,they were a real challenge.

Indian peace keeping force consisted of
1.INS Vikramaditya
With 8 MiG-29ks, 12 LCA Tejas-N,5 HAL Chetaks,12 Seakings
2.INS Jalashawa
With relief supplies,personnel,and 6 seakings
3.Shardul and Magar class ships
These ships delivers personnel,vehicles etc to the Indian peace Keeping force

4.Deepak and jyoti class ships
Tankers in the support roles]

Operation Sandbox
Vincent Farma's right hand and brother David Farma is known to be coming for a meeting with his associates in Hotel Lux in the City Centre.
City Centre is a part of city surrounded by world war era tall fort walls. The buildings are closely packed.The entry to the city centre is via passage in the Northern and southern sides.
City Centre is stronghold of Mw2 terrorists. UN Safe zone controlled by India lies 4 Kms south of the city centre
Objective:
Capture David Farma

8.00 AM: Local spies report to the army officers that Vincent Farma may come for a meeting in Hotel Lux by around 4 Pm.
8.30 AM: Surveliance Drone DRDO Nishant is launched to fly and monitor Hotel Lux.DRDO Nishant can be launched from a catapult in a truck and can be recovered via parachute,thus eliminating the need for a runway.
Surveilance shows heavy movement in the otherwise empty Hotel Lux.
8.45 AM: Two Indian Army para commonadoes,disguised as Bithuanian civilians enter into City Centre and provides real time information . They are carrying communication radios and surveillance spy cams.
They are also equipped with location trackers.They carry Milap Carbines as armament.
Two Indian Navy Dhruvs stands by with Marcos commandoes,fully prepared to immediately extract the IA Spies within 2 minutes in case the spy game is compromised.
Indian Air Force Dornier Do-228 flies around the City Centre providing radio relay for the spies as well as to act as a mobile control post in the event of a spy extraction. The Dorniers also compliment Nishants in surveillance.
9.30 AM: Spies confirms the would be presence of Farma.
9.45 AM:Indian Army officers decides an operation to capture David Farma. Operation sandbox is born.
Resources to be used in the operation are:
1.HAL Dhruv
2.HAL Rudra
3.HAL LCH
4.BMP-2 Sarath
5.OFB Aditya MPV
6.HAL Lancer
7.Mahindra Marksman
8.Takshak
9.Mahindra Rakshak
The Game Plan.
The power supply to the City Centre is provided by power lines running from the east coast power station.When sunsets, an Indian army infantry team will capture the power station and kill the power to the city centre. Just as the power is down,24 no.of Indian Army PARA's will fly down in two HAL Dhruvs equipped with tavours and night vision goggles.
They'll be escorted by two HAL Rudra. HAL Rudra is the armed version of Dhruv equipped with 20mm gun and rockets.
One Dhruv will drop the 12 member PARA team in the roof of Hotel LUX. The other Dhruv will drop the other 12 member team in the ground.They will be covered by the Rudra
On the same time another Indian Army PARA Team enters the City through ground. 2 BMP-2 Saraths leads a convoy of armoured vehicles via the northern gate of the city.The Sarath carries 7 PARA's.
2 Mahindra Marksmen carries a 6 member team.
3 OFB Aditya Mpv carries a total of 30 men.
2 Takshak Armoured vehicles carry 6 commandoes.
The Marksmen,Aditya and takshak is armed with OFB RCWS with 7.62mm machine gun and 40mm grenade launcher
The ground forces are escorted by two HAL Lancers equipped with 12.7mm gun and rockets & Two HAL LCH.
Indian Navy N-LCA's equipped with LGBS with MiG-29ks escorting them flies "stand by" in case.
Near by Pakistani and NATO forces are notified prior to the mission.
3.00 PM: Vinent farma enters Hotel Lux. Operation Sandbox is confirmed.
5.45 PM:Indian army infantry team captures the power station after a low intensity fir fight. 7 terrorist dead. Power station under Indian control.
7.00 pm: Sun is set. Illumination provided by electric lamps.
7.05 PM: Spies confirm the presence of the target in the Hotel. Ground forces depart from the base.
Operation sandbox is on
7.15 PM: Air team is in air.
7.19 PM: Power to the city is shut. Hotel and surroundings under complete darkeness.
7.19 PM: Air Assault begins. Dhruvs drops the commandoes. All commandoes carry Infrared markers in their bodies. They are equipped with NVGs and takes down the surpirised terrorists.
Rudras neutralizes terrorists in and around thebuilding with 20mm guns and FLIRs.The infrared markers help to avoid friendly fire.
PARA's dropped into the ground quikly enters the Hotel. They easily locate Farma in the third floor along with his associates. The paras in the roof is stopped by an heavily armoured door In the roof. When the standard C4 fails The Rudra fires a single rocket at the door,blasting making a big hole at the roof
7.21 PM : The roof team joins the other PARAs who has already secured Farma.
7.21 PM: Ground forces enter the city through Northern Side. They face negligible resistance mainly due to the intial confusion.
7.22 PM:All the prisoners are ready to be transferred. The Hotel and surrounding under PARA control.
7.24 PM : Diesel generators and Bon fires provide illumination.The terrorist attacks the ground team and the PARAs.
7.26 Pm:The ground team splits-Gt 1 and Gt 2 .Gt 1 with One BMP,two Marksmen and an Aditya MPV supported by 2 LCHs stays and fights the terrosists while the Gt-2proceeds to the Hotel.
7.28 PM: Diesel generators eliminated by LCH and Rudra
7.28 Pm: The Gt-2 reaches the hotel. Prisoners loaded into Takshaks
7.29PM:Gt-1 constantly in the move,eliminating terrotists
7..30 PM:Hotel under mortar and sniper fire from a building x 6 blocks away.
7.30Pm: Gt-1 moves to eliminating Buliding x.Stopped by HMG firing and road blocks. Gt-1 PARA's laser tags the building with laser designator in their INSAS Rifles.
7.31 PM:Naval Lca drops the 2 x 5ookg LGB. Buliding X eliminated.
7.32 PM:The Gt-1 on the move from Hotel.When Gt-1 is cleared, two dhruvs land in the hotel ground in succession and extracts the air dropped PARA's.
7.33PM: Gt-2 joins GT-1
7.36 PM:Heavy defence laid at the gate by Terrorsist. Neutralised in rocket attack by HAL Lancer
7.45 PM : Team reaches the base
7.46 PM:Air team lands in the base

7.00 AMperation Sandbox declared a success with the capture of Vincent Farma.

why should we send viki to Africa? Will never happen, unless an African nation massacres countless Indians or declares war on us. And the fighter squadrons on the Viki also seem to be a bit strange: 8 Migs and 12 LCAs`? Dude Navy would allways go for the Mig 29ks instead of the LCA

An IAF aircraft was attacked.
Also MiGs were for airsuperiority and LCA for multirole. MiG 29 is poor A2G performers

Jolly Good piece of work Sir - i sure do appreciate the effort put into it ! ... defence scenarios in the african continent is a good idea because closer home may be too sensitive ..... i hope some time to start a futuristic defence-scenarios group within dfi ( it's allowed in the rules ) and would like you and some others to be part of it .....so far it's just an idea but i do hope to get it together ........nice piece you wrote !

doesnt matter, even if they shoot down 6 IAF planes India probably wont hit back against an enemy so far away. The political will and the public support will be missing. Even if it arises, it will disappear within 2 weeks after the usual media hype

man are you crazy:shocked:!why the heck would the U.S. attack India when everybody knows that India is a major non-NATO parter of the U.S..you can rather imagine a fictional situation where the combined armies of China-Pakistan invade India and the resultant fightback by the Indian Armed Forces.this'll sound quite natural as we know that both of these countries are potential threats to the Indian Union.:cool2:

Well in warfare, nothing is impossible or crazy for that matter. Germany invaded SU even though they had Molotov-Ribbentrop. Besides, it is all fiction. Haven't you heard of the book "India trumps USA". That was fiction. This would be fiction. No big deal.

Kindly stop acting so clueless and innocent. Few decades ago, you all were ranting about India's nuclear threat. The situation was not very different from that with Iran. Then, during '71 war you'd sent your warboats to help Pakistan and counterbalance SU. There is no reason why you yanks can be relied upon to be loyal or reasonable for that matter. War IS your business. You speak the language of drone-strikes and foreign interventions. We have known America long enough to know how 'deep' your friendship is with us and how 'valuable' a partner you are. A stable US is not in the interest of a future power that India is aiming towards. However, fictional it might sound, a land invasion of US on India is not implausible and let me assure you, our generals and strategists have thought of that too.

Since this is a fictional thread I think we should let members post any scenario.....but it should ofcourse make sense too......and why not USA, i had seen a video where they showed how 3 F-22 and 2 B1 aircrafts destroys entire squadrons of IAF's migs, MKIs and Rafale in a fictional scenario.
