The First Indian C-130J lands at Hindan Air Base, Ghaziabad yesterday at around 1800 Hrs. The images below shows departure of C-130J from USA with Indian Air Force Crew. There will be a Ceremony tomorrow at Hindan wherein Defence Minister AK Antony along with the US ambassador to India will take the charge of new C-130J on behalf of IAF. I will try to post the images of the ceremony along with a short video (if possible) Congratulations to all IAF enthusiasts on adding a new bird in their fleet.

Today, 04 February 2011- Lockheed Martin conducted a press conference in New Delhi on the occasion of First Indian C-130J Delivery to IAF. Apart from giving a brief review of Indian C-130J, Mr. Orville Prins who is Vice President, Business Development for India said "for the upcoming Aero India 2011 their F-16 Block-60 from UAE have landed today in India, along with the Indian C-130J & F-16s Lockheed Martin is coming up with a "Weather reconnaissance" variant of C-130 also called "Hurricane Hunter" of USAF. This particular aircraft will remain in India for few more air exercise with IAF even after Aero India. As far as F-22 is concerned it is still uncertain whether it will be flying in Aero India or not but yes there will an F-35 Simulator.
