TSD = Technical Services Division was a Covert Unit of Military Intelligence active inside Kashmir. In the "Coup" Scandal towards the end of the MMS regime the TSD was the primary casualty and it was disbanded and its operators disgraced and thrown into the wind.

TSD did a commendable job shutting down the Insurgency in kashmir. This recent resurgence over the past 2-3 years is a direct result of them being disbanded.

I have heard of plenty of 'rumours' and smirks about TSD run cross border ops inside POK. SG was one of the units they used. Para's were actively used by them including J&K SOG.

The Disbanding of TSD along with CIT-X (by Gujral) will go down as the 2 top 10 stupidest things we have done.

There as an article following up on the operators of this unit. It is extremely sad what happened to them. One ended up doing Inventory management in Siachen . Think one committed suicide.

yeah the show of israeli tavor and american m4 gives boner to everyone ,

men matter the most but its also necessary to provide them what they require the most isnt it ,

but they are ridiculously armed and hilariously equipped and dependent on foreign supply ,

and instead of following bs documentary of foreign media like a naive puppy make some original content because too many stupid channels and videos on youtube about weapons and glory of indian army ,

and to f***st mods me criticizing stupid videos and not indian army .

Israeli Negev LMG spotted again, in service with the Marine Commandos

The IMI Negev is a gas operated, short stroke piston, dual feed light machine gun chambered in 5.56 mm calibre. It weighs 7.4 kg, is fed from a 150 round ammo belt in an assault pack or from IMI Galil 35 round magazines, has an effective range of 1000 metres and a rate of fire of a stunning 1000 rounds per minute. One of the interesting features and advantage when compared to the MINIMI is that the Negev also has a semi-auto selector.

The Navy MARCOS use it as their standard issue LMG/SAW. With the MARCOS they've only been seen being used with 150 round belt container and no optics.

The MARCOs were the first unit in India to procure the Negev FYI.
