Pakistan has rangers but they arent considered special forces; they are paramilitary with the same job as India's BSF.

Looks like every police special weapons unit is hooked on to Sigs. Great weapon though. Don't know why our special forces people tried it.

Judging by the M4 being held by the soldier on the far right these are Para not Ghatak because Ghataks don't really use M4 but the paras are equipped with it.

Why would be SF be present and not be utilised in Gurdaspur, when it was already declared that Punjab police will handle the matters themselves.

As far as why M4 is not expected to be in hands of Ghatak teams, others can contribute.
