How MARCOs compare with British SAS or US Navy SEALs ?

Training and selection process is almost identical but equipment and support systems are woefully lacking for MARCOs compared to Western SOFs- same story for all Indian units really.

Ghataks are elite infantry much like the Rangers and technically every Indian army officer is a Ghatak. Every officer has until the age of 30 to complete Ghatak training course.

Oh, so like the US rangers?

Pakistan has rangers but they arent considered special forces; they are paramilitary with the same job as India's BSF.

I just looked up Ghatak Force and it doesnt really look like a special force unit...
