India losing battle of hearts and minds in Kashmir: Imran Terrorist Khan

NEW DELHI - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that Indian troops are losing battle of hearts and minds in Kashmir.
In an interview with a Delhi-based newspaper, Imran said, "India is using troops in Kashmir. They are losing the battle of hearts and minds. It's like treating cancer with aspirin."

He said that there could be no military solution of Kashmir. "It can be resolved. I will work on a roadmap by making people from India, Pakistan and Kashmir look for a solution by sitting on a table," Imran said.
He called for a strong leadership in India and Pakistan to take on vested interests "who want to make money on the conflict". He said young people were tired of the continuing hostility between the two countries."
The PTI chief also addressed a World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, he said while the improvement in bilateral trade was welcome, there should also be progress on the issue of Kashmir on a parallel lines. "Trade connections along with cricket matches will help. At the same time, we should develop some sort of a roadmap to resolve the Kashmir issue which is vital. Because unless we operate on both plains, there is always a possibility, as it happened in the past; relationships were improving, confidence building measures, cricket matches, people-to-people contacts, and then came Mumbai," he said. Stressing the need for a new relationship, Imran said the problems should not be solved through militancy and military, but through politics. "It should be two-pronged. One to normalise, open up relationships with trade on one side and then start a dialogue on Kashmir."

What's there to resolve ? There's a zero possibility of India loosing a inch more and there's a high possibility of India capturing GB .

This guy lives in lalaland. Its funny too, because it was Pakistan that initiated military action in Kashmir, we are merely defending our own territory.

s. "It should be two-pronged. One to normalise, open up relationships with trade on one side and then start a dialogue on Kashmir."
Thats too simplistic. I really do hope he becomes the next PM, guys at the Indian MEA would chew him up and spit him out.

Re: India losing battle of heart and minds in Kashmir:Imran Terrorist

Imran Khan's on way too much Afghan ganja. That's what happens when you patronize terrorists.

He couldn't be further from the truth. The statistics indicate otherwise. If India were 'losing the battle for hearts and minds' in Kashmir, terrorist related activity would not be down by over 83% since 2006, political violence would not have had a massive 60% annual dip in the state, Jammu&Kashmir's state GDP would not have grown by a significant 6.61% in 2011 and tourism would not have hit an all-time record of over 1 million last year. When was the last time you heard of a significant flare-up of anti India activity in the state?

The Government is finally getting its act together and that spurs self-interested, politically-motivated, reality-disconnected and desperate comments from IK.

Imran Khan. -. It is the other way around. Kashmiris are sick of Pakistanis and offering information about terrorists hiding in every area.

For your own benefit Imran, do not get your political information from ISI political operatives.

Imran Khan left his country in these turbulent times to holiday in Mumbai at socialite Parmeshwar Godrej's bungalow.

"India should back our democratic process."

Sure, and it is the right to be where you want to be when you want to be.

Other earlier quotes of Imran that are pertinent in the given circumstances of his country and his version of democracy.

"If your house is burning, wouldn't you try and put out the fire?"

The hose-pipe is in my city?

"It's more important to try to do something for the crores of poor people of my country."

Yes"¦later, honey. No rush.
