If this is true, than Bravo we've taken our revenge from one of the sprees of surgical strikes about to come form time to time. But if any escalation occurs we should remember, that we are still ain't prepared yet, at-least logistically, read a report from a newspaper a few day ago, that we lack in supply of ammunition's and military rations, of course the moral of our boots will never lessen nonetheless.

Those stats are for a two front war (i.e. both pak and china will attack)

What PAF has to face Bars and R-77 mix? Nothing! Those F-16 Block 52 can be tackled with newly upgraded fleet of Mig-29s and Mirages. Not to mention that F-16 pilots are adviced not get into dog fight with Mig-29s.

This will be a huge morale booster for Indian army personnel on the ground, And the strongest ever message to separatist elements in J & K and all over the country, that in future GOI will let Army retaliate in a proportional manner for any death of its personnel at their hands,

When
North Korea gets away with N test,
china gets away with buzzing US military planes,
turkey gets away with shooting & killing russian jet pilots,
not but the least ,
PAk gets away with sheltering mullah omar, Osama Bin Laden, & haqqani network that killed 1000s of US soldiers,

this surgical strike with out the beating of war dreams of war drums by modi govt won't even cause a ripple in international relations.

FENIX by Vivek Ahuja. He's and aeronautical engineer and has used simulation models to predict such a confrontation.
Of course its a book for recreational reading, but the figures shown are more or less accurate.
