लुधियाना: भारतीय पुरूष टीम ने चिर प्रतिद्वंद्वी पाकिस्तान को 59-22 से पीटकर लगातार तीसरी बार विश्व कप कबड्डी टूर्नामेंट पर अपना झंडा लहरा दिया है।

भारतीय पुरूष टीम ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते शनिवार को यहां खेले गए मुकाबले में शुरूआत से ही मेहमान टीम पाकिस्तान पर अपना दबदबा कायम रखते हुए मैच को एकतरफ बना दिया।

भारत ने शुरूआत में ही लीड 9-0 से हासिल कर ली थी। मैच के पहले हाफ के खत्म होने तक भारत ने 34-9 की लीड हासिल कर ली। भारत की ओर से रेडर्स गगनदीप सिंह गग्गी खीरनवाली, गुरलाल घनौर, मनमिंदर सिंह और सुखबीर सारवान ने 10, 8, 8 और 7 अंक हासिल किए जबकि स्टॉपर इकाम हथूर, बलबीर पाला और गुरविंदर खलवान ने 10, 7 और 4 अंक हासिल कर भारत की जीत सुनिश्चित कर दी।

भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच खेले गए एकतरफ फाइनल मुकाबले में विश्वकप हासिल करने वाली भारतीय टीम को दो करोड़ रूपये की ईनामी राशि दी गई है जबकि दूसरे स्थान पर रही पाकिस्तान को एक करोड़ तथा तीसरे स्थान पर रही कनाडा को 51 लाख रूपये की ईनामी राशि दी गई है।

इससे पहले भारतीय महिला टीम ने एक बार फिर अपनी श्रेष्ठता साबित करते हुए मलेशिया को एकतरफा मुकाबले में 72-12 से रौंदकर लगातार दूसरी बार विश्व कप कबड्डी टूर्नामेंट अपने नाम किया।

भारतीय खिलाडियों के सामने मलेशियाई टीम कोई चुनौती नहीं पेश कर सकी। पहले हाफ तक भारतीय टीम 42-6 की मजबूत बढत के साथ खिताब पर अपना कब्जा सुनिश्चित कर चुकी थी।

भारतीय टीम की रेंडर्स प्रियंका देवी ने 13, प्रियंका पिलानिया ने 8 और सुखविंदर कौर ने 8 अंक जुटाए। स्टापर जतिन्दर कौर ने 11 और अनु रानी ने 10 अंक जुटाए। मलेशिया के लिए रेडर मनप्रीत कौर चार और स्टापर रेखा दो अंक ही जुटा सकीं।

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री प्रकाश सिंह बादल ने विजेता भारतीय महिला टीम को 51 लाख रुपये की पुरस्कार राशि भेंट की। मलेशिया को 31 लाख रुपये मिले जबकि तीसरे स्थान पर रही डेनमार्क को 21 लाख रुपये मिले।
