Don't think Iran Cheetah's are real .. they may be imported African Cheetah .. Actually once Indian govt considered this swap and asked Iranians provide DNA samples but Iranian cheaters refused.
Actually the Asiatic/Cheetah and African Cheetah are believed to be the same population, not very different genetically. Cheetahs were found in India till 1948, when the last three were shot in Bastar. Cheetah pelts have been observed to be on sale in some informal and black markets in Balochistan and it is believed that remote regions of the Balochistan may have some isolated Cheetah population.

Know the story.

I think Asiatic Cheetah are extinct long ago from world ... Iranian cheaters imported and released some African cheetahs in Iran and branded them as Asiatic cheetah and claim they ARE SAME GENETICALLY.

If Asiatic cheetahs are alive today obviously there are some genetic differences.

India has three different types of crocodiles
1.Biggest crocodile in the world Salt water
2.Mugger crocodile
and last entirely different to all
3.Fish eating crocodiles: Gharials

The Gharial is one of the largest crocodiles, ranked closely behind the salt-water crocodile (Crocodylus porosus).

Males can grow 5 – 6 meters. Females can grow 3.5 – 4.5 meters. Adults weigh between 159 and 181 kg.

Gharials are the only crocodilian that are sexually dimorphic, meaning the adult males and females look distinctly different from each other. Males are larger than females and only mature males have a bulbous growth at the end of their snouts.

A sloth bear named Buddhu a lived for a few years at Juli Kisan's home in Lakhapada, Odisha. The young bear was born wild, probably orphaned & one day wandered into the village following a herd of goats.
He never left & had lived with the family ever since.

He was rescued for rehabilitation from the family by wildlife officials in August, 2012...

In Sri Lanka, Sloth bear is one of the deadliest threats to humans who live by the jungles. One of the prime reasons is that the Sloth bear used to attack humans from behind. One of the most famous Sinhalese demon is said to have a reversed bear head. :D

Sloth Bear are little bigger in India (elephants in SL) and are more threat to humans ... generally they attack humans from front and start eating face alive as they don't know 'how to kill' like big-cats.

Many videos and pics are there but they are gory, so don't want to post here.Luckily majority attacks on humans are not documented in India(bureaucracy and state compensate them) and because animals considered as sacred people don't make much noise. :)

Mangled face is the trade mark of the Bear attack. I have also seen many people who bears the marks. It is pretty sad to see them like that. Anyhow, what I have heard is that the bear attack from the rear initially. It is said that most ferocious is the female bear.

Any female with cubs is dangerous. :pound:Generally bears are omnivorous means they eat insects, fruits and scavenge cat-kills etc ..... cats prefer from rear as they are hunters but bears don't know how to hunt or kill... they accidentally maul humans and they found only soft-thing in human body is face, they start eating it.

Here are some specimens from India Song by Karen Knorr that explores the enigma that is India & her people's cultural ties & close cohabitation with wild animals.
The blurry boundaries between her wilderness & civilisation, fancy aristocracy of yore keeping all sorts of wildlife within palace premises & transgression of India's animals in human habitation; are given the forms of exquisite digital arts that has Indian wildlife superimposed over famous historical architecture...

Garo Hills (Nokrek NP), Meghalaya. You can find them there.
Not really. It had once, but whatever is remaining there are not native to it. There had been an attempt to undertake a captive breeding of them, but so far it has not fructified.
