i had given IB exam for some post (probably assistant).. they ask weirdest GK question..

from Holy crusade to birth place of some ancient RISHI..
my mind was blown when they asked to select the name of a person who passed from the same university from where an Indian scientist (cant remember the name ) passed..

and i was also stumped when they asked Hobby of Adolf hitler..

they can ask anything,may be about your neighbor.. .. i havent applied since then.. No more.. Doesnt matter how hard i Prepare ,,every time they manage to surprise me..THis is not to discourage you ,this is to inform you that its not easy and QUESTIONS ARE NOT CONVENTIONAL LIKE OTHER EXAMS IT REQUIRES SPECIAL PREPARATION I GUESS

But examination for lower posts are simple..

this is because in any situation you have to make stories ( Lie) and if you cannot then you might lose the objective.

Go next time, try once again,, and this time make approach to answer such ' weird question' better don't make their answer better. You have to be clear cut how you answer then irrespective of correctness of answer.

The 'caste system vs reservation' equation is a false paradigm. You regret caste system? well, I am sure you regret Mughal invasion and subjugation of our nation too? what systems do we have in place to amend the historic wrongs done against us as a community by the Mughals? If we are collectively made to pay a remuneration for historic sins of our ancestors, I would also like a Mandal commission to be set up so that the children of Mughals have to pay remuneration to us. Whenever a self-flagellating libtard tells you "we must feel obligated to pay the dues because of what our ancestors did", just agree with them and ask them for clarity on what they feel about Muslims having to pay remuneration to Hindus for Mughal atrocities, if they fumble, call them out for their inconsistency. Keep asking them that until they stop coming up with self-flagellating posts.

Reasons I settled for BITS
1. 0% attendance system
2. I was getting Goa campus
3. I did not want spend my Rome with an half incompetent crowd.
4. I was not getting any old iit.
5. I was eligible for scholarship
And I am general category(no pwd too)

That's some sound rationale. Course complete kar leta toh you would have gotten a solid dividend out of your time. I'm not saying that not having a degree is going to hurt you in the private sector (it only hurts if you want to become an ISRO scientist like bittu ji @Indx TechStyle), but to have spent whatever time you spent there and to not get a reward out of it seems like a taxing proposition. Anyway, your correspondence allows you to get the best of both worlds, you will have a bachelors degree for things which demand it as a bare minimum eligibility criteria (even startups these days mention, 'preferably graduate'), and you have good programming skills so your Github profile will suffice. I still wonder, if you keep roaming around, how do you manage your IGNOU assignments and exams?

Think out of the box, try to outsmart them not to answer them.

My exams are coming
December 1 onwards.
As for assignments I am in first part itself so not much of work
Had only one assignment so far

I have some other plans for myself.
Want to start a startup(havent chalked out plan yet) and an NGO to help and support martyrs(will be up and running earlier next year).

I just dont want to work in big private corporate firms as they want you to do what they want,not what your actual skill can do.
A friend of mine,last month went to taipei for some code competetion and fortunately he did good and won that competition,he has been offered job in that company(cant remeber the name mediatek or zotac),

I beleive thats how selection procedure should be,all based on your skills and technical prowess,not on how you can impress the HR team,thats what the MBA guys are supposed to do.
