That's very good but they seem to be claiming that this is their own design from the ground up. In fact they have taken a licence from ARM plc, a British company for the two processors being used; one of the slides mentions Big-Little and A18/ something else which is ARM designation for their new high end offering for mobile phones/tablets etc.
Most phones and tablets (about 95%) use ARM processors integrated into chips by companies such as Apple (A6, A8), Qualcomm, Nvidia etc. So now Hauwei have joined the club. As an ARM shareholder, I hope they are honest and pay the agreed royalties to ARM. The competition will be hot on their heels.
In fact I believe that the apple A8 already uses the Big-Little architecture but modified by Apple as they have a very expensive architecture licence from Arm which means that they can make their own alterations to the basic processors that Arm supply.
