Should we use this opportunity to solidify our strategic commitments to Iran and complete the process of encirclement of Pakistan?
Should we pursue deeper ties with GCC and undermine the only remaining "all-weather" alliance of Pakistan?
Should we use our strong rapport with both sides to push for a peaceful solution, and increase our global and regional prestige? (This will be least effective to Pakistan)
If Pakistan decide to enter the conflict, should India back the Shias in Pakistan and beyond?
If Pakistan (sensibly) continues to stay out of this, what can we do to take advantage of the situation?
If India cannot capitalize from this conflict in some way (especially with Pakistan under such pressure), it would be a failure for us strategically and diplomatically.
