    How animal herding can stop desertification and reverse Climate change

    IS it Hinduism's centuries old formula 'the holy cow'.... just leave the un-productive cows (old and bulls to stray) so that they go on search for food.... more they graze (and dump) more the land will prosper or technical term used by the scientist MIMICKING THE NATURE.

    He clearly said no solution to stop desertification except animal grazing.

    This is a common practice in andhra telanaga(no info about rest of the states), usually goat herders. they get paid by farmers like 200-300 rs per day to graze in their fields. closer to ramzan you can see larger herds.

    This is hardly a policy most industrialized countries can easily adopt. There
    is no money to be made in animal herding.

    Interesting video.

    We need to try this in more arid states and regions of states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra
