Was treading through some videos of the war in Afghanistan and came across one with the Gurkhas. One can clearly the see the bonding the Gurkhas share with the Afghans with being able to freely communicate with each other in Hindi/Urdu, enjoy and share the same jokes, thanks to bollywood, and understand the Afghan culture better. Gurkhas seem to enjoy having a very positive impact on their area of operations.
