present day fighter aircrafts can carry load upto 5000-8000kg..

why need a bomber ..

the unmanned aircrafts are the futures coz 9-G is presently considered to be the human limit with all the precutionary suits wearing ...if a aircrafts going to fly with more then 9G ,then they nessasary has to fly without a human inside...

carrying weapons is not a problem but the range.
a simple example distance between delhi &bejing is 3700 km (approx)(straight route) what fighter will reach with out mid -air refilling in enemy territory
su-30mki -3000km
and mrca range between -3000km to 3700km

As one of the above friends pointed out....9G is human limit...we definitely need to invest in unmanned tech...i guess 6th gen aircrafts would be unmanned crafts but will not have the ability to match the agility and maneuverability of 5th gen manned aircrafts..but the 7th gen of aircrafts will be defined as very very agile and maneuvarable surpassing the skills of best of the pilots i guess...so india shud from now on invest in unmanned tech ...and our future bomber needs to be small, agile , stealthy and unmanned focussing long range and high survivability

is it possible for any fighter aircraft to panetrate 3000km deep inside a enemy terretory during a war when enemy is fully red alert.....

once a fighter aircratt cross the border it will be detected and has to counter the enemy figters , there after it has to counter multiple layers of air defence systems ...

when for a fighter it seen so difficult , how a bomber can do this...

yes true a bomber can also be detected.but most off the wepons in fighter are aam&sam very few clusters and laserguided bombs bombers are designed to carry much more load

any way bombers are design in maximum possible stealthy way and in war senario it was always assisted by 2-3 fighter IMO

at the same time we have modern fighters but no bombers after jauguar /MiG-27- which are retired by original states which produces it
atleast we need replacement

information of future bombers

usa's time line for bomber
Next-Generation Bomber-unknown cancelled or not

Russians still producing Tupolev Tu-160 and they plan to induct PAK DA from 2025

If reports are true then chain producing Chinese H-8 Stealth bomber

drdo is already working on a hypersonic reusable plane that can act like a long range bomber of range about 5000 km.
