To everyone claiming this was rape, you're wrong, since that implies the Brazilian team was alive at one point in the match.

This was more like necrophilia.

It could have been 0-8 or even 0-10. At the end of the day one can say Neymar`s absence played a big role in this defeat but one still wonders how can a team like Brazil lose 1-7. Anyway the game reminded me of the time I used to spend in playing FIFA 04 at amateur level.

Exactly it happened in 1950 against Uruguay, Brazil suffers a new trauma playing a World Cup at home. The dream of be world champion in front of Brazilian fans has finished again.

In actuality this defeat - thereafter aka 'Mineirazzo', for it happened in Mineirão Stadium - was more painful than that in 'Maracanazzo' in the previous Brazil's World Cup.

Brazilian nation is very sad and some are very furious too. One german fan was hit in the ear when celebrating a Germany's goal and lost his audition in that ear.

Even if Brazil had played with Neymar and with our captain and best defender Thiago Silva, I think the defeat could not be avoided. Brazil was winning but not convincing in the games.

Silva may have made a difference. The defending for the first goal was terrible. Or more accurately, David Luiz got tangled up (with Klose?) and lost Müller. While debatedly that was "unlucky", Luiz seems "unlucky" when defending on a regular basis. And he's most definitively very emotional, and we'd say in English, flaky i.e. he falls apart under pressure. I guess being captain doesn't make much differance, in football. But, with him being the senior defender, the potential for disaster was pretty good.

Those old-time games were often big scoring affairs. Looking at results from way back you'll see plenty of 5-2's and 3-3's, etc... I'd watch dozens of football games a year and I seriously can't remember the last time I saw a side score 7, or a game with 8 goals.

Congratulation Argentina, well played :)

Good chance to take revenge on 1990 final won 1-0 by Germany.

May the best team win, both are my favorites :)

'Our humiliation category is full': Pornhub calls to stop uploading Brazil vs Germany highlights

Germany's crushing 7-1 victory over Brazil in the World Cup semifinals was so brutal that it even made a debut in the 'public humiliation' section of the adult website Pornhub.

In the wake of a tsunami of internet memes about the crushing defeat of the World Cup favorites, one submission was apparently uploaded to Pornhub under the title "Young Brazilians get f**ked by entire German soccer team."

The website jokingly urged its users to stop uploading game highlights, as its "public humiliation category is full."

A screenshot of the submission went viral, prompting curiosity from many. "Is this under 'gangbang' or 'amateurs?'" one commenter asked. "I thought Pornhub didn't allow rape," others quipped.

At the time of publication, the video had been removed. While news of the stunt was likely encouraged by the site for publicity, the screenshot remains proof that it really did happen.

Germany's 7-1 defeat of Brazil on its home turf at Belo Horizonte Stadium was arguably one of the most embarrassing semifinal matches to date – if not the most embarrassing World Cup loss ever.

Okay, I'll stop now.

I am happy that Germany won. It is my favourite team. I like Brazil and Argentina too. Netherlands never deserved to reach this far. I would have loved to see Mexico in the third or fourth spot.

One man who would be very happy is Oliver Kahn, the best goalkeeper of all times (followed by Lev Yashin of USSR). I remember how he said that he alone would take his team to the win the World Cup in 2002. It was highly unrealistic, but his dream has come true today, with a much better side.

These are my picks, of course.

I love South American football, they play with passion just like India and Pakistan used to play hockey on natural grass. But Germany has always been a technical powerhouse, their tactics are totally different from others and very well calculated. Every player knows his place and duty. The way they humiliated Brazil in Belo Horizonte, they have won worlds respect. They deserved to win.

Netherlands should have lost against Costa Rica, they got lucky. In football its one of the most arrogant teams in the world. But then again, this snall country usually makes it to the last four and some credit should be given there.

Great to see that most expensive football countries, Spain Italy and England got eliminated at early stage :)

This I agree. But still they were pretty good.

This I like.

Anyway, Germany deserved it, no doubt.
Also I don't think Messi should have got the Golden ball.
