Fleet Modernisation of the Indian Navy

Exactly our SSGs should be a froward deployment of Scorpene Class and a Arihant Class each. And there is always greater threat to a fleet from submarines because of their stealthy attributes. And Nuclear submarines can travel at almost 60knotts, that is twice the speed of a normal vessel..

I believe Indian navy should ialso nvest in air assets as well along its shore lines. A few air bases under navies command with dedicated multi role attack aircrafts . Also it will be good to have air bases at lakshdweep and Andaman and nicobar islands.

And STEALTH destroyers with best cruise missiles and air defence systems. Our new destroyers arent as stealthy as what UK and US have. Our air defence is not as good as french and US have. We need to improve on this.
