phrased diplomatically against Indian aspiration for a permanent seat in UNSC

"It is better to increase the non-permanent membership of the UNSC when reforming the Security Council," Park said in an interview with India's Doordarshan TV on Jan. 9, a day before she left for India.

"The Korean government thinks this way of reform to be more desirable because it can better help the UNSC actively cope with changing international circumstances."

Majority of nations in security council support India"s right for UNSC permanent seat, except china. South korea's opinion is not that significant here. Of four out of 5 nations in UNSaC support India , I think that is enough to get the permanent seat for us.

Why should India even care about UNSC seat? India is a huge nation, 1/5th of humanity and emerging stronger each day.
Its going to become a DE FACTO world power soon. THEY, who kept India out of the club (read WEST) will invite India as they can not stop march of 1.2 billion humans. They have already started to change their tune. Interestingly, it was Russia who always wanted India in UNSC and for a while, even China have started supporting India UNSC bid. Very recently, US have started whispering the same. India just needs to focus on making its economy and military stronger and rest all will follow automatically.

Well, actually they can and they are doing it.

They are foolling you, can't you see that? Chinese objects Japan, USA doesn't want Brazil and Russia refuse German. It seems that India is the only one get everyone support. But everyone knows that India can't get enough votes by iteself.

India just needs to focus on making its economy and military stronger and rest all will follow automatically.
Then coming back when you get the money.

This outdated club called UNSC is going to be insignificant soon. India don't need to bother with this instrument of imperialist power. When China, India, Russia, Japan all get armed with hi tech nukes and other WMDs, those imperialist, hegemonistic powers will be afraid to play their old "divide and conquer"
dirty game because the stakes will be too high. If war breaks out in any of these major nations, the dividing and instigating power will also suffer immensely and the global economy will collapse hurting all the nations including the "hegemon" Only solution left will be "peacefull coexistence" . End of hegemony and birth of multi-polar world.
What if all these major powers decide that they donot want to fight with each other...where that leaves the "divider"?
