Internet steps up to defend Rosetta scientist

So the story is as follows:

Brit Scientist Matt Taylor is the chief of Science for the Rosetta space mission.
He wore a Hawaiin type kinda shirt (which had bikini clad women cartoon characters on it), for the media interviews, just as the Philae lander spacecraft was touching down on comet 67P following more than ten years in space.
Note: This is the first time a spacecraft is landing on a comet.

The shirt was custom made by Elly Prizeman, a friend of the scientist, who gave it to the scientist, a recent birthday present. Elly tweeted that the scientist wore the shirt as a gesture of gratitude to her.

This is the shirt.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Suddenly, the feminist lurking all over the internet started their nagging and bitching.

Yet, on Twitter the achievement was quickly overshadowed. The most prominent early critics were astrophysicist Katie Mack and The Atlantic's science writer Rose Eveleth.

Eventually the poor scientist was forced to apologize and did it with tears in his eyes.

But, as news outlets, including the Verge (headline and lede: I don't care if you landed a spacecraft on a comet, your shirt is sexist and ostracizing (that's one small step for man, three steps back for humankind) picked up the subject and published editorials against the shirt, Taylor apologized.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then the internets saw this, and arose against this injustice. :yey:

A group of sympathisers set up a fundraising campaign to award a gift to Matt Taylor and his team (though the Rosetta scientist said he couldn't accept.) A petition in his support also gathered over 10,000 votes.

Good one. I love the responses given to the Feminist radicals.

My favourite is this one:

SJW = Social Justice Warriors.

In my experience, Feminists (or those that claim to be so), are failures in life, and extremely foul mouthed.

Feminists are the scum of humanity. I hate them more and more with every passing day.

The AAP bitch called Vidyut tweeted: "Do women members of BJP always spread their legs for Modi?" or something to that effect. Consequently, she was bombarded online. Deservedly so. And the next day this bitch whines about "misogynists on the internet targeting a lone woman". And there were other feminists who were moaning in sympathy for this woman. Yesterday she tweeted, "Meanwhile, somewhere there is an army of trolls holding their dicks and furiously masturbating, cooking up more fantasies" or something like that.

And then, this sex-obsessed woman accuses others of having "sex on the brain, always". And she whines when people pay her back in the same coin, and she hides behind feminism.

The vile woman called Sagarika Ghose is no less - she hides behind her gender when the going gets too hot.

There should be some solution to this problem. Feminists just cannot hide behind their gender and scream "misogyny" each time someone pays them back in the same coin. If they can't take it, they shouldn't dish it out. Gender equality does not mean that you feminists get a free pass to rant and abuse, and spew whatever filth you want to.

Men won't get married anymore because of ladies argues Denigration of Men, by PETER LLOYD | Daily Mail Online

Why men won't get married anymore: Women complain chaps today won't settle down. Sorry, ladies, but it's all your fault, argues a wickedly provocative new book
The Trust for the Study of Adolescence recently proved scores of teenage girls in Britain are deliberately becoming young mothers as a career move because, with the state and the father contributing, it offers more guaranteed security than a job.

Even 13-year-old girls admitted this, which might explain why Britain has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in Europe, at an annual government cost of nearly £63million.

Perhaps the law-makers need to think about radical action to break the cycle. Maybe men could be allowed to have a financial abortion from a child to which they didn't pre-consent.

In a specified time — say, legal abortion guidelines — men could be allowed to formally relinquish all monetary obligations, rights and responsibilities if duped into fatherhood. The woman still wants to proceed? Fine, that's her choice. But not on his salary.

Controversial? Yes. But overnight we would see fewer acts of conception by deception. And that can only be a good thing — for men and for society.
