Re: Indian Rupee sinks to a new low Rs. 63 to a Dollar

No this is all our doing. US has nothing to do with the fall of the the Rs.

The only way they are contributing is that they are going to make the cost of accessing Dollars a little bit more expensive.

But yes Rs. to Euro rate in last 12 months has gone up from Rs. 68 to Rs. 83 to a Euro so you can calculate the increase in cost.

So today Rs. touches 64 to a Dollar before recovering to 63.45

But let us remember this is the middle rate if you want to buy Dollars from the bank the typical rate would be Rs. 65

What is causing fall of Rupee?

We have strong fundamentals. Oil bill is nothing new. We are paying for that.

''Our Fundamentals are strong'' is a congress-I dildo, given to its media outlets to use it with liberty. If our fundamentals were to be strong then we could have sustained our GDP.

Our fundamentals are weak unfortunately. And they have grown weaker recently, in the last few months, that is the truth.

Saya Saar, Why ask me if I know economics or not ? Did you asked Singh if he has studied Economics or anyone else. By asking me this question you will force to work hard to prove my point that our fundamentals are not strong. Kyon bachey ke jaan le rahe ho sir ji.

Oh! Is it!
Would you like to use the same comparison to USA? Do you want to compare their demand and production capacity?

well they are unable to produce because of dumping from China. Due to this price competition and sale below cost price, our industry has suffered.

they are unable to produce just because their product simple has poorer costperformance and deselected by comsumers..

consumers always select better costperformance prouducts...

Chinese quality is world famous, so many time even before chinese product was brought to home, it stop working. Non of the shop keepers guarantee them, therefore people have stop purchasing them.

Chinese goods dont have much of market now. Only the companies which purchase goods from China and guarantee it, were able to sell it.

sir would please explain it to me why our currency is having a free fall in the past couple of months as i am having difficulty in understanding what the economists are saying about this(actually though i am a student of commerce i have a very poor knowledge about economics)!so can you please tell me that if the Indian economy is facing the same crisis which was once faced by us in the early 90s?and i am reading all sorts of news about how eventually the Indian economy is going to collapse due to this free fall of Indian currency and according to some international economists India will eventually collapse as a nation.so is there any possible way we can resist this fall of Rupee and bring back the economy back on track soon enough and if not is it the beginning of the end for India as a nation?(sir please answer my questions as i am quite concerned about the present situation of our motherland)
