Next he'll say that the heat wave in Pak is the result of Indians farting too much!! :biggrin2:
He beat you to that. He had already divulged that last year drought like condition and heat wave in eastern Pakistan was because of India.

Hmmm.............. was there in Afghanistan to gather compensation from US. That's really great.

This guy was an ardent critic of Musharaf and openly criticized him for Kargil fiasco as well as his role of supporting US against Taliban.

Now after all those opposition, he was there to collect compensation from US? What else could one expect.

Cross-posting my own post from the other Shitistani thread
***
We are only taking steps to properly utilise OUR share of waters ALLOCATED under Indus Waters Treaty. The treaty permits non-consumptive use of Sindhu (Indus), Vitasta (Jhelum) and Chandrabhaga (Chenab) waters for irrigation and power generation and 3.2 MAF storage capacity.

We are now expediting the hydel projects that were languishing for decades. Swalkote dam was conceived way back in 1991!!

Napakis have not build a dam since Mangla and Tarbela that were constructed by western powers with the money extorted from India after the Indus water Treaty.

Since then Shitistani population has more than quadrupled (despite accounting for the separation of Bangladesh). They have not invested in proper maintenance of the century old irrigation system, which is hopelessly outdated in this era of modern farming.

So far they were relying on our "largess"- we were unable to fully utilise our share of waters even on the rivers fully allocated to us- Ravi, Beas and Sutlej. The water flew into Shitistan and they happily lapped it up, while laughing and cursing the kufr Hindu bania at the same time.

We are gradually moving towards- using up as much of Ravi, Beas and Sutlej waters as possible for irrigation, hydel and other needs. We are also stepping up our efforts to tap the potential of Chenab in particular to generate hydroelectric power.

Napakis being Napakis cannot bear to see this. Despite all their bluster, they cannot attack the dams as not only is it outlawed by Geneva convention, but it would invite a retaliation so swift and brutal and from being water stressed, they'll turn into a land where not even a blade of grass will grow- finally realising their dream of becoming more like their Arab brethren, people of the desert.

If you recall that there was a Neemrana Track-thoo meeting recently. One of the participants, Rakesh Datta, outlined his experience in a newspaper article.

http://www.tribuneindia.com/news/comment/a-view-from-islamabad/588672.html

"We were told to be magnanimous on the water issue being upper riparian and show humility as a bigger country in South Asia."

This is a clear indication as any that Napakis know that our stance is legally valid and our steps justified. So they fall back on the MORALITY and HUMILITY, being shameless enough to overlook the irony.

What this means is they want us to go back to the "old ways" and let them get away with bloody murder (figuratively and literally). Because is the definition of MORALITY and HUMILITY in Shitistani book. The kufr, especially the kufr Hindu bania, must bend over and take it both ways. After all they were the "rulers of this land" and deserve nothing but complete submission.

This is the feudal mindset that pervades every section of the society- from the fata Abdul to the landowning Jaagirdaar and the Jarnails.

We can destroy Israel in less than 12 minutes” says Pakistani commander

A senior Pakistani military commander has claimed that Pakistan is capable of destroying Israel in under 12 minutes, the latest of a long series of threats against what it deems as the “Zionist regime.”

Zubair Mahmood Hayat, a senior advisor or Pakistan Army said:

“If Israel tries to invade our land,we will raze the Zionist regime in less than 12 minutes.”

In 1947, Israel’s founder, David Ben Gurion sent a telegram to Muhammad Ali Jinnah in an attempt to establish diplomatic relations with Pakistan. The telegram was initially ignored and to date, Pakistan still refuses to recognise Israel as a state.

Ben Gurion was allegedly quoted in The Jewish Chronicle in 1967 on his view of Pakistan:

“The world Zionist movement should not be neglectful of the dangers of Pakistan to it. And Pakistan now should be its first target, for this ideological state is a threat to our existence. And Pakistan, the whole of it, hates the Jews and loves the Arabs.

This lover of the Arabs is more dangerous to us than the Arabs themselves. For that matter, it is most essential for the world Zionism that it should now take immediate steps against Pakistan.

Whereas the inhabitants of the Indian peninsula are Hindus whose hearts have been full of hatred towards Muslims, therefore, India is the most important base for us to work from against Pakistan. It is essential that we exploit this base and strike and crush Pakistanis, enemies of Jews and Zionism, by all disguised and secret plans.”

This famous quote has never been verified and many Israeli academics dispute its authenticity. However, it is a well-known fact that Israel is not favoured by Pakistan. If you don’t believe, just take a look at the recent blog published on The Express Tribune about Israel.

Over the years, I have heard many arguments regarding the Palestine-Israel conflict. From holding Hamas and Fatah accountable for internal bickering between the West Bank and Gaza Strip, to blaming all Arabs for being arrogant towards south-east Asians as a whole – therefore the Palestinians deserve the unrest and the injustice. And above all the arguments is the one that takes the lead; Jews have the biblical right to a land that was promised to them by God.

To explain these reasons to a Palestinian living off UN handouts in a refugee camp in Lebanon or Jordan would be an insult and borderline insensitive. Imagine having your culture and livelihood taken from you and being expelled from your land. Or, to be degraded daily by the Israel Defence Force in checkpoints strewn across the occupied West Bank and have your child shot by Israeli extremist settlers in Nablus.

Human rights violations are rife despite Israel portraying itself as the beacon of freedom in the eyes of the international community. Israel would have you believe that Palestinians are all terrorists and it’s only defending its citizens from suicide bombers and Islamic extremists.

The reality however is very different.

There is a wide misconception that the clash over the holy land is solely between Muslims and Jews. There are over 300,000 Palestinian Christians in the disputed territories, along with many more living abroad. They too are discriminated against equally as their Muslim counterparts. Israel uses sophisticated lobbying from institutions such as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) to portray Palestine as the aggressor.

Then comes the question, ‘Would it be in Pakistan’s interest to recognise Israel, like countries who already have such as Egypt and Jordan?’

If not for economic stability, then maybe to increase its list of allies?

I would have to say no.

Not because of the Muslims versus Jews debate, or the ties many people have to the third most holiest site in Islam, Al-Aqsa Mosque, but based more on a human level.

If it was the other way around and Palestinians were occupying a land by killing innocent civilians and begrudging them their basic human rights in the 21st century, I would reiterate my decision regardless of religion or race.

We cannot let our names represent an apartheid regime and ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people. We should push for peace in one of the most complex conflicts of our time, and simultaneously hold Israel accountable for its actions – something which the UN repeatedly fails to do.

I must also emphasise that I’m not anti-semetic and I don’t agree that Jews are our enemies either. Zionism and Judaism are two very different concepts. To simplify things, all monotheistic beliefs are from the same maker which renders the fight over religion pointless; hate will only brew more hate.

This is a fight for human rights who everyone has the right to defend.

Pakistan itself has a tainted slate when it comes to human rights. But it wouldn’t get any closer to making amends by forming an alliance with Israel either. And as for improving Pakistan’s image externally, well maybe we should focus on procuring a change from within first and then worry about what image others have of us.

India borrowed our economic plans, claims Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said India borrowed Pakistan’s economic and reforms plans and implemented them successfully while “we squandered the opportunity largely because of political instability”.

Speaking at the inauguration of Pakistan National Centre for Cyber Security in Islamabad on Monday, Iqbal, who also holds the portfolio of interior minister, said during the 90s then Indian finance minister Manmohan Singh borrowed economic reforms strategies from his Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz and successfully implemented them in India.

He said Bangladesh also successfully used the same strategies but Pakistan could not put its own plans to use as the decade was lost to political instability.

The planning minister said the first opportunity for Pakistan’s economy to take off came in the 60s, the second in the 90s, and the third opportunity is knocking at the doors now, which must not be lost to instability like in the past.

Enough is enough, Ahsan Iqbal tells CJP

He described peace, stability and continuity as critical for economic progress.

“We will have to think why many countries which were behind us are now far ahead. China’s per capita income was far below Pakistan’s but is now much higher. Similarly, Bangladesh’s foreign reserves have reached $33 billion while we are at $18 billion. For how long, we will watch other countries overtake us,” the minister wondered.

He said tanks and missiles alone could not save a country “if it’s not strong economically”. He said while the armed forces had rendered great sacrifices, the successful fight against terrorism was possible also because of the availability of funds from the national budget.

“There was a time when terrorists had surrounded us but today the state has cornered them. If we squander this opportunity, the history and future generations will not forgive us,” Ahsan added.

He said in 2013 Pakistan was using 2G wireless technology but the country would now be among the first users of the 5G technology in the world.
