Explosion outside Indian consulate in Afghanistan

Jalalabad: A huge explosion has been heard outside the Indian consulate in Afghanistan's eastern city of Jalalabad.

Casualties are feared. However, reports say that staff at the consulate are safe.

The Afghan Taliban have reportedly claimed responsibility for the blast.

More details are awaited.

Now Jalalabad is very close to Pak-Afghan border. Who could be pricked by the presence of an Indian consulate there, and who could have carried this bombing?
