This the defacto way in which garbage is disposed by nuclear submarines all over the world .

Incinerator is not used because it will over load the onboard scrubbers , the scrubbers are purpose built to deal with carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide only . Other gases in large quantities will destroy the membranes.

Indian scrubbers onboard indian nuclear submarines.

Stabilization is not point of contention here

The red herring is the movement of the missile cannister inside the silo both cyclic movement and up and down transition from stowage to pre firing to launch position which does not fit with the operadi of K15 cannister in the submarine silo

Anyways you can be right or I could be right or both of us could be wrong .

    Keeping all options open.

Interestingly 45 nos of such system already supplied

    Pics of silo

Yes I too have the same feeling

But still why did they classify it as a naval system. Misinformation maybe

Or maybe for submerged pontoons :biggrin2:
Not a bad idea either for tests or otherwise isn't it ?

Why make things easier for the enemy ?

Many don't know prahaar and Shaurya are in active service , though in limited nos.

Newer version of prahaar was asked by army because they wanted a higher specific impulse propallent ( higher velocity ) plus other changes after limited operational usage during exercises.

As ordinary citizens why do we even bother with all these :confused1:

When the time comes morons at the top will surely hesitate to retaliate , few million Hindus are easily expendable for a small chance to win Nobel peace prize .

Researchers from IIT Kanpur have developed cutting-edge metamaterials that will be of great importance in developing our country’s defence capabilities. Profs. Anantha Ramakrishnan, Department of Physics; J Ramkumar, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Kumar Vaibhav Srivastava, Department of Electrical Engineering have developed transparent RADAR absorbent material, the first in the world to cover all RADAR frequencies as well as textile-based material, non-detectable by RADAR, which can be used in uniforms for soldiers as well as skirtings for war machines.
They have also developed India’s first infrared absorbent metamaterial, meant to prevent hot objects from emitting infrared radiation, making them virtually undetectable at night. These will be crucial for keeping our defence systems and soldiers safe from attacks at night.

The project was commissioned by DRDO
They gave gave specifications which had to be achieved by the IIT team , which they did.

All that remains is to convert the lab prototypes into military grade pre production models

This is how core technologies are first established at labs and then engineered into military grade products

LRDE developed various TR modules for Radars

Silicon (SI) BJT based TRM : Frequency of operation upto C-Band, power output upto 400 W and Class-C operation.

Silicon (SI) LDMOS based TRM : Frequency of operation upto C-Band, power output upto 500 W and Class-AB operation.

Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) based TRM : Frequency of Operation upto Ku-Band, Power output upto 20 W and Class-AB operation.

Gallium Nitride (GaN) based TRM : Frequency of Operation L, S & C-Band, Power output upto 400 W and Class-AB operation.
