At last my dream is coming true.

A decent enough launcher at last.

A mode decent model might be this one..

What I like with this tractor based TEL, is that missile can be easily hid by having slide able Container on the top of it. And military green can be converted to commercial white or orange quickly. Soviet/Chinese style TEL look more offroad capable but easily can be identified when on move on public roads

Guess what this is ?
Before thato note the

1. The appendage at the back in red colour, which looks like a blast deflector / ground mount ( not sure though )

2. The numerous out riggers especially the white one at the rear.
Correction : the white outrigger is not part of the system.

Some assumptions and speculation what the thing might be

1. Transporter / loader of missiles for silos

2. Transporter / loader of SLBMs eg K4

3. Prototype launcher/ carrier for ASAT interceptor. ASAT launchers will need specialised launch facilities with organic launch pads. Presence of a system close by with visible white outriggers may be the launch pedestal . Also note the presence of a hoist winch.

4. Prototype TEL for ICBMs other than Agni 5 or maybe for Agni 3/4.

The red thing at the back is the crane for lifting or tilting the tube. Hence it is a TEL. Also, it is unlikely to be a transporter that is transporting a single missile in a complicated tube instead of transportation in bulk inside goods train or C17 planes.

The diameter of each wheel can be stated to be 2.5 feet and there are 5 tyres in a row in addition to spacing in between that is also significant. So, this carriage is of about 25-30feet. The missile length is a little less at about 20 feet taking aside size of the crane and gaps in the canister..

It appears to be Pralay missile, nirbhay missile or could simply be an oil tanker where the backside red is a crane. It is not any of the Agni missile as even Agni-1 has 15m length.

My earlier prediction of it being Agni-5 TEL stands corrected.

I too agree it being a transporter. The rig doesn't seem to support the fact of it being TEL. Moreover I am not seeing the generator anywhere and I am sure that we have not yet minimized it to fit in driver's cabin.

BTW we could have a fair bit of idea on what it could be used to transport with this pic.

Have you considered the measurement of length of the trolley before calling it a transporter of missile? Why would you need a truck to carry small missiles like Nirbhaya, Pralay etc instead transporting them in bulk?

It appears like a tanker with pumpset to me.

Look at the picture I posted. Remove the genset and then compare the overall length of the tractor.

Moreover do you see any thing special in it as a tanker which the current fleet of Bullets can't achieve? Neither it seems to have offroad capability nor of higher capacity as a tanker.

This is Agni-1 missile TEL. Just compare the length in this picture to the original @porky_kicker photo. Your photo has too much of slant angle and hence depth perception is altered.:

Now compare the length of the tyres to the total length of missile including the part which is projected out of the trailer and then compare with original one:

 Look at the length of the missile instead. I posted pic of A4 not A2. A2 is longer then A4.

Moreover you posted pics of display tractor, not TEL. TELs are smaller then these.

Who is talking about pralay or Nirbhay carriage ?

We r talking about ballistic missiles

What is your explanation about the heavy side grid where the cylindrical container is placed .

What kind of tanker needs those heavy grids at the side.

Have you seen any fueller of the indian army ?

I have seen it

And so what you are saying is wrong sir.

No point in arguing just for the sake of it.

What if I tell you the picture from where I sourced it, was about missile systems , will you change your narrative ?

Pralay is a ballistic missile of 350km range. It is a substitute for Prithvi missiles but with solid fuel. It is a ballistic missile indeed.

A picture is better than 1000 words 1000 arguments and 1000 everything

So here it is

SLS-5.jpg

Untitled.jpg

They are for different missiles but they serve the same intent albeit with some difference.

The 2nd pic is most probably a scaled down version with some difference maybe, and mounted on a mobile platform.

Now no point in wasting time arguing
Anyways I am out
