We'll never know the real reason why it wasn't listened to. There were no aircraft carriers there also!

usa was looking for a solid reason to convince its people to enter the war and pearl harbour provided that.

Watch the movie TORA TORA TORA (Japanese) - It's based on facts not like Hollywood Pearl harbour which tells story of one side only.

Actually us aircraft carriers were ferrying aircrafts on that fateful day! And the reason for not taking the intel report is that they didn't know where the attack might come! They strongly believed that Philippine was going to attack!

The "day that lives in infamy", 7 Dec. 1941, is undoubtedly one of the most important days in the 20th century.

It marked the beginning of the end of imperialism in the classical sense, and the rise of America as a global superpower.

There is no thing as fate or naseeb.
or kismet (Why leave kismet out)?

True.

For some that is.

Then to some there are jinns and dervishes!

Some believe in gnomes, goblins and leprechauns.

That we are born in the families that we are born into, to some, is something that is ordained scientifically!

Some believe that there is no DFI and we are not actually posting on it. It is all a Maya!

To some, there is nothing called religion or Prophets and it is all a hoax to enslave the peoples mind through excellent marketing and communication skills!

And some believe there was no Holocaust but a fraud perpetuated by the Jewry since they control world finance.

And some believe that there was no Pearl Harbour and the US orchestrated it to find an excuse to go to war!

Guys, following comment is from China PLA Academy, I tried my best to translate it. What interest/alerts me is: there do exist so many things prove Chinese leaders are taking it seriously, no less than any doctrine/hidden policy...

"The lesson of WW2, in Europe and especially obviously in Pacific War, is clear: it's political leaders' responsibility to assure the country have ten times than certain the capability -- technology, human resource quality and quantity, country strength operating systems (NOT weapon system) -- to win a war, if it happens. That's the most outstanding success of Franklin D Roosevelt, no less than a master piece... ...compared to him, it's almost unbelievable and pathetic that Japan leaders made the exact opposite decision... ... betting whole country & people on luck... ..."

-- making you want to laugh on all those war-nuts shouting for either regional or short victory...
