I was hesitating to open this extra thread about a revealed project on Airshow 2014...

although I knew this would happen finally...but, not in this way...
Finally some R&D team decide to turn the P800 tech in hand for decade into a Export Anti-Ship Missile Project..

CX-1简介及特点
　　CX-1导弹武器系统采用车载机动发射，能够打击敌海面护卫舰、驱逐舰、巡洋舰等各型水面舰艇，同时具备对地打击能力。CX-1导弹还可适应舰载倾斜发射。
　　CX-1导弹武器系统具有如下特点：
　　a.突防能力强：可采用多种弹道形式，末段采用低空掠海飞行攻击舰船，进一步提高突防效能。
　　b.毁伤效果好：战斗部质量大、命中速度高，对于舰船目标具有极大的杀伤力;
　　c.反应速度快：采用无依托阵地发射，自动化程度高，作战反应时间短，导弹飞行速度快，可实现对敌快速打击和撤离;
　　d.作战使用灵活：可实现舰载或车载发射、使用平台多样，可换装不同战斗部、采用不同飞行弹道、以多种方式进行对地或反舰作战;
　　e.火力覆盖范围宽：通过弹道机动可实现对40km～280km范围内的目标打击，火力覆盖范围宽。

　　通过整合A系列、M20、CX-1等武器系统形成以通用发射平台为基础的火力打击系统。
　　通用发射平台采用8×8重型越野底盘，乘员4人，具备在不同地形条件下自动完成发射操作的能力。

　　外形尺寸(满载)： 12900mm×3110mm×3550mm
　　乘员： 4
　　最大速度： 80 km/h
　　高低角： 0°～65°

the Lauch Vehicle is the same as the A100 MRLS-- General Lauch Platform for A100(10 tube),A200(8 tube),A300(8 tube) MRLS and M20 tactical missile (2 cells)

i think russia is playing like double agent they sell all the crucial technologies to china without considering the indian dilemma on the Chinese dragon..for eg.su-30 .club cruise missile.chinese kilo subs ,s-300.....now p-800....etc.china copy all the russian hardwares without russian permission or indirect permission of russia. but russia reluctant do the same with india.and prohibit india from copying and didnot give 100% technology transfers like smerch..t-90,,,etc

They sold their strategic bombers and let chinese copy their heavy transporter like IL 76 to Y 20 without a single voice raised.

While I remember my Dad used to say the Supports vehicles of SA-6 Pechora like URAL supplied by russians were crap and when in early 2000, IAF approached Kirloskar to change the petrol engine as they were fuel guzzler to Desi engine.They raised the violation of TOT blah blah and successfully derailed the whole upgradation.

CM 400 is mid sized missile. Some of our friendly countries need heavier ones.

Air Launched YJ-12 is a project for PLA, never heard it would be exported so far

CM400 is a CASIC product.... it's a ballistic missiles with the mobility and the whole trajectory is kept in the atmosphere...900kg, top speed 5.5 Mach(in Unpowered period, the speed(or the total energy) would attenuate)...

CX-1 came from CASC...Cruise Missile it is.... over 3 tons. powered during the whole course, Land/ Combat ship Lauched...

Looks like China's market study revealed that there is a huge export potential for Brahmos/ Yakhont/ Onix class of Missiles.
