    typo------ 1st quarter of 2018

It is very strange to go from such high activity to ZERO activity over an entire quarter.

Even that "crash video" is not proven as real, quite edited.

If we review Armand2REP's judgement, from 2011 to J20, the Chinese Economy issue, Chinese VLS system.... none of those judgement/prediction was right, so you would believe what you want to believe.

It won't hurt China or others, only hurts your own IQ.

    -----------

    Latest news on 7th March:

three C919s will be produced in 2017 with more trials toward FAA, and the order already reached 815 planes.

Something like a "crash" 1000+ km south of where the prototypes are? A crash that only you and @lcafanboy know about, that no one else has reported? That seems very likely:crazy:

You do know that prototypes are modified constantly. Especially first prototypes which is exactly what B-001A is, the first prototype. But suite yourself.

Like @rockdog points out; your negative predictions about Chinese tech have been proven wrong so many times, it makes sense that the only posters who still believe you are spiteful Indian fanboys who wish talented test pilots dead for no other reason but envy.

An ARJ21 is seen at Ulanhot airport in Inner Mongolia. The jet has launched a 10-day "demonstrative operations" to prepare for its highland operation.

China's first domestically developed regional jet, ARJ21, launched a 10-day "demonstrative operations" on Tuesday in Inner Mongolia to prepare for its highland commercial operation.

The jet, operated by Chengdu Airlines, the first commercial operator of the jet, is operating return flights daily between Hohhot and Ulanhot through March 30 with onboard passengers, said Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, its developer.

It is the first time that the ARJ21 has returned to Inner Mongolia after it started flying commercially in 2016. The jet made its test flights in low temperature and highland conditions in Hulun Buir in Inner Mongolia for its airworthiness certification between 2010 and 2014.

The 90-seat ARJ21 was designed to fly in conditions prevalent in China's central and western regions. It can take off and land at nearly all the highland airports in the country. It can also fly in temperature of minus 30 degrees Celsius, according to COMAC which has won 453 orders for the jet from 21 customers at home and abroad.

The airline flies four ARJ21s between Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, and Shanghai as well as other cities in the east, central and southwest of the country. They have flown over 50,000 passengers since it began commercial operations in June 2016.

ARJ21 completes crosswind validation testing in Iceland

The Comac ARJ21 regional jet has completed crosswind validation testing in Iceland that is aimed at widening its operational scope.

China's ministry of industry and information technology says aircraft 104 completed the testing on 26 March at Reykjavik's Keflavik International airport, and subsequently approved by by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

The tests involved six takeoffs and landings, where the average takeoff crosswind was 38.4kts and that the average landing crosswind was 34.9kts. It also says the maximum verified crosswind was at 48.7kts, exceeding the aircraft's design target.

Although the ARJ21 is designed for 30kt crosswind take-offs and 27kt landing limits, the CAAChad previously only been able to validate its performance at 22kt crosswinds during testing in China.

The ministry adds that once the results are accepted by the CAAC, the ARJ21 will be capable of operating under a wide range of meteorological conditions.

To date, the ARJ21 has secured commitments for 453 units. Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that four of the regional jets are in service with Chengdu Airlines.

Nice list. One can never be sure if the US deep state is unified on this tariff business - but if the POTUS (and allies on this issue) can push it through, that will be great news for sustainable world commerce.

The EU and India, amongst others, will have to ensure that PRC goods are not diverted to their markets destroying local industry and job creation. As in the past, the PRC would continue to use Indian and EU monies to strategically encircle and enslave other countries. India and the EU must impose parallel tariffs on PRC goods.

Solve your own trade deficit to China first... that's $50 billions... India so far has very limited power to be a balance power among EU, US and CN.

EU trade with India is very balanced, they are a solid partner that we can grow with. China is a leach that ships a bunch of cheap junk but consumes little. China needs to lower their tariffs or we will have to start initiating similar measures as Trump. Your economy will not be able to weather that storm with the whole world turning against you.

The trade between EU and China is still growing, and China won't raise the trade war with EU, there will be trade conflict between EU, but never a war...

And Trump seems try to make trouble with each trading partner.

Luckily, Trump never complaint any French car dumping in US market, i think French automobile companies are doing really great there, do you agree?

C919's local engine alternative powered up

China has successfully achieved power-on for the first CJ-1000AX demonstrator engine, the alternative powerplant for the in-development Comac C919.

The high-bypass turbofan engine’s core reached a maximum speed of 6,600 rpms, disclosed China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

It adds that since the assembly of the demonstrator engine was completed last December, Chinese manufacturer AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine has overcome numerous issues in connections and debugging. All adjustments were finally completed on 30 March.

With the engine power-on, conducted in a test cell in Shanghai, the ministry says the functionality of its various components and systems have preliminary verification. Subsequent tests will determine the performance of the engine in its entirety.

The CJ-1000AX has a diameter of 1.95m (76.8in) and a length of 3.29m (10.7ft). China plans to build 24 more CJ-1000 prototype engines to support an airworthiness campaign, with entry into service targeted after 2021.

The C919 will initially be powered by CFM International Leap-1C powerplants.

    @J20!

Why that junk c919 not being tested.....
Oh wait last time that video of c919 crash was authentic, which CCP went on a deleting spree. So much so even the link of crash which I had posted has been deleted...
Now one tell me one thing. If this crash video was fake or of another aircraft then why 11jumping pig or Winnie the pooh ordered to delete all links of crash video?

For me why would I Care to delete if its fake or of another aircraft. I would continue testing it cause that's the best answer to any critique. But CCP went on to delete crash videos that only prove that something is fishy and you people want to hide truth....:biggrin2::biggrin2:

Has it really? Maybe you should inform COMAC. As of March 8th 2018, the 1st prototype has completed 35hours of flight time over 13 flight tests since arriving at the Yanliang test center.

As per my post on this same page, as of March 24th 2018 the 2nd prototype has performed 5 test flights:

It's kind of sad that you have to make up "crash" conspiracies to reconcile your hate of all things China with the C919 program. Do you have proof to refute the photographs from COMAC?

The the CP deleted a link you posted on DFI? There was a time I would actually waste time replying your ilk, fanboy. But just in case you have actual evidence of a C919 prototype crashing in January, please post a news source backing up your assertions.

Otherwise, go derail some other thread with your inferiority complex B.S..
