CLGM as man-portable is an option that can be exercised if NAG is not available..

CLGM is mainly for Arjun MK-1.

Arjun Mk-1 can't fire an anti-tank missile.

GLCM can also be used against low flying UAV's and choppers. I don't think NAG/Helina has that capability. Not to mention its way lighter at nearly 1/2-1/3 weight.

I am talking about the man-portable version of Nag which will weigh 14 kg.

CLGM is based on LAHAT which also have top attack mode even NAG have top attack mode, there fore CLGM too have top attack mode..

You first have to elaborate your question, Coz the name itself says its use ..

CLGM is basically a light anti tank missile. The man portable version of Nag is also a light anti tank missile. Both missiles have same roles, then why both are being developed when only one can do the job?

multi platform missile, put it where ever you like, on helicopter, tank, BMP, bullet motor cycle side cart, infantry soldier can use it as manpod. Best part is NLOS and the range which is higher then 5 km.

can be used against tanks, BMP, bunkers and low flying helicopter. Specially helpful in China border, where you cant tank NAG missile.
