Even Rents is over 1/10 of USA's 15 trillion USD GDP.

Unfortunately, even measured with USD, CHina's industry output is already 2 times sized of USA"s.
If measured with quantity, CHina's industry output is almost equalt to the combined of the rest of world.

but you have to admit the us designed iphone and factories in prc making them......the us has largely out sourced their low end work and they build factories in many places through out the world other than their own place......

i think in terms of industry what prc lags behind big time is the ability of producing high value produts.......in the era where you may be easy to make1 ton steel but hard to make 1 gram real high tech chip.....

Sorry but France and UK are not the kind of countries that would unilaterally invade another nation, the Us does and its more than capable

Also your nuclear deterrent would have offered you some protection if you hadnt given up your right to use it ....China has a no first use policy

and even if it didnt have that, Chinese missiles are obsolete, the US is more then capable of stopping every Chinese missile that heads its way with its missile shield, and if china tries that the US would create a 100 year nuclear winter in China

I would suggest that one should read the Chinese newspapers.

They are excellent as 'pick me ups' on a dreary dull day.

They have such imagination defying news, such excellent hectoring on methods towards peace and tranquillity around the world snuggling side by side with patirotic news of the forays into the SCS to subdue the horrid barbarians around their gates, of their excellent industrial excellence by which they are out American the Americans in fabricating US equipment to include US defence marvels and then a few morale boosting notes for the Chinese on how the princelings are engining the Chinese economy with no help from the peasants and the workers!

And of course, how the Communist are cleaning the Augean Stable with a few notes on such 'deviates' as Bo Xilai and his ilk!

And not to forget the antics of the Kung Fu Chang in the Congress of the People or whatever they call it.

And yes, do not forget that excitement has also be injected into Chinese politics with Divine Bosom become a big time Communist appartchik!
