I think it's handed over to PLAAF for testing. Maybe testing regiment?
No fan boy, thats the prototype number, and PLA-AF will test it throughout its development, and test it in details.

A plane with modifications as major as this J-10 will have to go through a lot of tests.

Check the Gripen NG for a example.

This plane will take more years before becoming ready for induction, unless the PRC government instructs the PLA-AF to accept it right away.

(The PLA-AF has not even inducted the FC-1 till now, no regiments have recieved it)

What's the significance of the pic again?
It has paint...... paint.

In a few years pakistan will paint it green and have a induction ceremony for super duper indigenous fighter.

Get it, its all about the paint.

Of course the PLAAF is going to test it. I expect it will be in service in a year or two.

PLAAF is not interested in FC-1.

Actually the mods should move this thread to the archives or something.
There are not many pics or media here, that's the purpose of posting in the MM section.

well, obviously ,many tech of the 5G bird has be tested on J10B such as stealth tech

It is reported that Overall J-10B is thought to be comparable to American F-16E/Block 60
Pilots on F-16.net say it is comparable to Blk 30. The avionics are far too inferior to compare to a Blk 60.
