Chinese know Russians are not that vocal as any other nation would have been, even not sanctioning them for repeatedly doing copy right violation. Russians are comfortable with back door entry in China because they know Chinese has to bluff rest of the world and they understand their miseries.

Seems to me most accept the story. I am more worried about indian members here who dont know the difference between preliminary designs and actually helos. LOL.

Don't exaggerate Russian response, it is very rare they have had disclosed something and all their disclosures have been found out to be true. You all are the same brigade who were ranting against Russians when they first revealed their SU-35 deal. Now you all trolls have been giving the same deal a different twists and tam tam.

The kind of indigenous bluff Chinese are doing and then sucking up Russian balls behind the desks still doesn't go against you because we all Russian will be complicit of not talking about their help to China for obvious reasons. You people can save all face you can.

forget it...because Russia can not invest sustained fund on the related R&D, Russians radar and avionic tech lag far behind day by day....
Russian themselves can not produce advanced avinoics and radar yet...

mate are you trying to be funny here because in reality you are not!Russians are second only to the U.S.A. when it comes to aviation industry.they have developed some of the most potent aircrafts in the history of aviation.even they were the first one to mount helmet displays on their later Mig-23 models which created quite a bit stir in the west.so you are simply comparing china which hasn't developed a thing on its own and has always relied on the reverse engineering of Russian aircrafts with a country that has got an impeccable record in designing and manufacturing state of the art aircrafts for the last 6 decades:shocked:!seriously mate what are you smoking these days!

Well there is some resembelence to the South African Rooivalk attack helo. This project has been shelved to to lack of international interest.Makes sense if Denel sold some of the design aspects to china. Makes business sense

Chinese are not learning anything by outsourcing and copy paste acts. India has taken a different route. You will see in next 5-10 years that suddenly we will leave the world far behind. As we will expand our knowledge base based on our pool of technology and experience while china will have russia to do it for them. I only hope that USA becomes an oil exporting nation asap as is predicted after this fracking tech came into existance. That will drive Russia to extinction as USA can flood the world market with oil to drop its price and create havoc to the economies of those nations which rely on oil exports. If India gives up the bear Hug and embraces Uncle Sam, we can hasten up this procedure of second disintegration of Russia.

there were four key players in this project: China of course ,Russia --as said in the thread ,Canada --if you have any idea about the early development of this project and another parterner? just guess..
