I thought they were replacing J-15 with a carrier version of the J-31. It is not safe to operate J-15, too many pilots have lost their lives with a 25% crash rate.

Why do you think J-31 will be any different. It's already a fat pig copy of original Fat-35 with underpowered engines. It will be bigger disaster than J-15s...:biggrin2:

The Chinese try to blame it on flight control systems for Russian engines. If they use their own engines they are limited to extremely slow throttle times taking 40 seconds to achieve military thrust and poor serviceability rates. The J-31 uses RD-33s. Some how they make that flight control system work with Russian engines but they can't get AL-31F to work properly as J-10s fall out of the skies like swatted flies.

The biggest problem is copying design with out knowledge of basics of design and then using chinese wares. In fighters it's chinese jet engines which are not up to the mark. This kills the whole design parameters and end products sucks.

India attempted LCA TEJAS which is original design. Yes it's still not capable as it should be but it's much safe and after a few tweaks will turn into capable fighter with mk1a and will be in world class league with MWF avatar. That's one of the benefits of being original...

    Paper tiger.

Need experience also to operate. Building on copied or stolen technology is one thing. Operating it efficiently in deep sea is another. There is no magic pill for experience. Moreover Chinese are afraid of deep sea.

UN peacekeepers refused to help as aid workers were raped in South Sudan – report
Chinese troops abandoned their posts rather than engage in fighting and protect civilians, says US-based rights group

LOL... yeah... just enjoy these illusory fake news and tarnish and get the climax as usual
it seems nimo_cn was right, it really looks like some kind of 'self-comforting'...

BTW. India is also a top ranked nation sending Armed Force for the peacekeeping missions( offset the UN Membership fee) , why don't you guys get to know something basic like the ' Rules of engagement of UN Peacekeeper'...lol...really pathetic..

What ROE prevented you to return fire when the rebels killed two of your peacekeeping forces, instead you ran away from the UN base.

I don't see Indian peacekeepers running away leaving their weapons behind at the first sign of trouble. The ROE is if you are shot at, you shoot back.

LOL ...just enjoy you stupid lies such as 'ran away the UN base'... get you basic info correct first...
run away ? run where? how? when?...as I always said, this world is too big for some People of the subcontinent. if you really want a so called 'Indian century' , I strongly recommend young Indian to go outside to 'touch' the real world instead of days of 'self conforting' in front of black mirror with Western media concocted things or meditating in some place... do something pratical, establish your own information channels, and then get to your own judgement . eating those western crap all the day would let youself become "https://defenceforumindia.com/forum...ation-can-ever-get.78604/page-18#post-1465858"

LOL...the world is big...go ,young indian.

Ignore these type of comments. We all know China is doing good is indigenization of technologies, and we in general took inspiration from it. Even though Chinese action are very hostile to India but Indians know that Chinease are not lunatics and can be reasoned with.
