China's local and central government GDP scores fail to tally

Local governments in China have finished reporting their 2011 GDP figures, and somewhat embarrassingly, their combined total is a figure higher than the central government's count.

Provincial-level governments have claimed total GDP of US$5.18 trillion for the whole country, while the central government's figure is US$4.71 trillion. A similar outcome also occurred in 2009 and 2010.

Fake GDP...
Don't you know a term call double counting? Central government cancel out all the double count.

u wanna know the GDP of specific 1 nation u go for CIA yearbook online....cant that be more authentic?

to caculate the GDP figuers...u also need to monitor other figues eg 'the us-china trade statistics' ...to know how well a nations economy is u can check someting like 'how much US gov debt china owns'....to find out how quick a nation is growing u dont simply label ur people as 'middle class' but to see how many iphones cars gold etc. u r consuming...even a keyhole settallite can know how many new roads ralways airports a nation is building......and if cars flight jets etc r using them r increasing is also something can be checked.....

https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ch.html
to add more fun....
'note: because China's exchange rate is determine by fiat, rather than by market forces, the official exchange rate measure of GDP is not an accurate measure of China's output; GDP at the official exchange rate substantially understates the actual level of China's output vis-a-vis the rest of the world;in China's situation, GDP at purchasing power parity provides the best measure for comparing output across countries (2011 est.)'

well, in 3-5 years, Chinese per captial nominal GDP is to surpass 10000 USD and to jump into "high-income" economy.

At the same time, due to the deindustrialization and the heavy burden of overladen social welfare, more and more greece-like fake "high income" economies will bankrupt and their real life quality will drop down gradually .

word "No pain,no gains" always works.

Unless European cut down their overladen social welfare and resume working hard ,they would find there would be more "greece" in europe..
