If that stuff was written by an Indian, he's either extremely naive, lying, or is not Indian. India's social problems are far greater than China's.

However, China's biggest problem is political uncertainty. A Chinese person was telling me how all the shops in Beijing have been banned from carrying knives to prepare for China's leadership meeting next week. What kind of ridiculous order is that? If knives are a security concern, what about the millions of knives sitting in Beijing residents' kitchens?
Shame on the stupid CCP, actually it is not banned but all so called "Controlled Knives" should not be sold in any super market during the 18th Party Congress. They are not doing this first time, since the 08 Olympic, they started to apply this "security measure". Ban will be lifted after event, but still, ugly enough, what is ironic, they learned this from London though. I don't know if any members here live in England, please share some insights on how Londoners reacted.

I wonder what a funny idiot might have written this article! It is the first time I have heard of people bashing their own country pretending to be a foreigner. Strange indeed!
Equally puzzled, Self-hatred? or Blind trust on foreigners view?
but this kind of tricks are not something innovative, a lot of people have used it to make their writings standing out and attract attentions.

a clever attempt on chest thumping by chineese... The obsession of China now is with growing India... they have Japan in east to contain and now have to live with a growing India at south... what a predicament to be in...

You will see now days how Chineese show their disparation towards their smallar countries around it... giving out threats on a daily basis... and making a mokery of itself... as if China as become a super power itself by making & selling cheap products...
You assumed too much, India remains as a remote concern and nothing is growing anywhere in Chinese public attention towards its southern neighbor, if there is any, the focus is on how indian maltreats Chinese enterprise and set barriers for trading.

China as a leaves-chewer, was cornered in someway by hunter's hounds, you see it is groaning because someone made it groan.
but Panda does bite, when it bites, things will get ugly.

Then bite, and stop barking. We've all had enough of barking and groaning. Do something if you can, otherwise please shut up and spare all of us the pain of having to tolerate your groaning and barking.

Biting is the last resort. Biting hurts.
if Barking can scare off some trouble, then bark serves its purpose, no harm to bark a lot.

The ultmost strategy to win is to win without fighting
---Suntsu on War

Translated into elephants language, bark when you don't need to bite.
--by panda. oh, panda forgot, elephants don't bite. hahah.

Remove your own in place trade barrier specially in the pharmaceutical industry and un ethical practices and then come and preach... We are least bothered about your so called concern...

You will remain to be cornered in future as well by all your small neighboring countries... Panda will not dare to bite anyone who is even 1/5 of its strength...

You are talking as if we don't want import some from you, but if we do so, we will get sued first place by American pharmaceutical industries and they are eager to find any excuses to start a trade war.

How you get around the legal issue is still something amazing to us, maybe they just keep one eye closed for you?

Panda even bites polar bears and bald eagles, panda bites elephants, panda bites roosters, actually, the five permanent beasts all bite eachother once for a while. you just don't bite when there is no need to bite.

Indian pharma industry is a miracle and as it continues to grow in a very fast pace, it will always look for greener pasture... We are used to the so called American threat for suits... I just read sometime back the Indian pharma company have won against one of the big five US conpanies "IP" suit very rescently... bad news to American co's...

China have to open up the Pharma domain for the indian industry on a compititive basis... this has already been made clear to chineese leaders.

I am rude to people who deserve nothing better. I have no respect for racist turds. Anyway, all you have done since you came here is to talk crap about things which you have very little idea about - hardly anything that inspires respect.

Re: I am gonna translate a funny Chinese article into English

In India, even you are authority.
That's freaking true for most Indians in India.......You have all the rights in the world but when it comes to doing your duties most of them chicken out :pound:

So do the Chinese Government Hospitals charge you for a consultation ? I remember going to a Government Hospital with my dad and the consultation fee was Rs.2 and Medicine was subsidised. So hows it different in China :hmm:

China applies now an American style Medical Insurance System, there is a portion of copay if you are covered by insurance, that being said,
a lot of people struggled in poverty has 0 coverage, which really puts China into shame.

I am saddened to say, yes, you are.
Ecomonically, wild primitive capitalist, Politically, soft authoritarian system.
two worst systems combined. but due to hard working people and sound infrastructure, we are still surviving and sort of thriving.
but things cannot last like this for long.

Chinese leader must have cried their brains out since they were also warned and made even clearer that any Chinese dealer handles counterfeit patented medicine will be retalliated and brought to court if necessary . I don't need to mention who issued this warning.

Miracle indeed :)

Do you think India and democracy are a fit for each other?
I'd like to know your thoughts on it.

They have provided an affordable medicines to peoples who can not buy expensive one's and we will continue to do so for whoever needs them... It does not matter what someone thinks about it...I called it MIRACLE because the people from THAT very nation comes down to India for affordable medical treatment...

As I mentioned in my earlier posts that a big US pharma company has lost the suit against an Indian company [I do not remember the name] and its a bad omen for them for things to come... This makes them more nervous for future things to come... I see another area where their domination is SURE to go down... definitely...

Have you ever seen any panda initiated the biting, I believe they just return biting.
although I was not born then .... heard that 50 years back Panda did bite... I thought it was un necessary considering the history of these two countries going back by 1000 years...

Yes and No.

To my very inaccurate knowledge of India's history and current development, I don't think being a democratic society or not has
too much to do with India's progress.

India's biggest hurdle of development is not rooted in any system, but rather in cultural identity. The layers of your social structure have never been touched, your elites stays elites and underprivillieged stays underprvillieged, be it independence or openning up, no major movement in social life have ever shaked the core of the status quo in your political configuration.

It is unfair to say that india has never been changed since British installed a governor to rule the subcontinent, but statement holds true in many aspects, putting shri into office actually does not mean anything vital.

With that being said, I think a paradigm shift in culture should be put into your schedule among the top list items, other lesser important issues such as choice of instruments to realize this goal (Be it democracy or China style soft authoritarian) will follow up automatically once objectives are set.

From an outsider's view, you have to strengthen your second sector in a big scale. Forget about the world office's pink dream, reinforce your infrastructure and industrialize your country. industrilization will bring you a population with self consciousness, discipline. and REAL sense of social equality. Only when you have this kind of people can you emancipate your rurual population, your women, and your lower castes, can you make them citizen instead of "surplus of active Indians"( I came to an article by one of your scholars who claimed there are only 100 million Indian are actually Indian, with this kind of mentality in your elite class, how can your society progress?)

WIth China restructuring its industry, there are enormous chances india can uitlize, even some are labor intensive manufactures, you should just take them and implant them. and with Japan aging out, Indian can also take over some of their sectors, don't look down upon these dirty jobs, Japanese did that, Korean did that, I see no reason why Idian is too proud of doing them.

Short thoughts short, it really does not matter being democratic or not, it matters if you want to break up your old cultural identity with industrialization and build up a brand new one.
