China rushes thousands of police to restive Xinjiang

BEIJING: China has rushed thousands of special police forces to Urumqi, capital city of northwestern Xinjiang province, where it is battling to contain separatist East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) militants.
Thousands of special policemen have been transferred to Urumqi from the regional public security department, state-run Xinhua news agency reported without specifying the reasons for the deployment.
The fresh deployment would be in addition to stationing of Snow Leopards, China best known anti-terrorism unit in Urmuqi as well as in the border town of Kashghar, located close to the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).

It is time that China seals its border with Pakistan - the source of all fundamentalist Islamic influences that gives internal grievances a fillip with strong religious overtones.

Chinese would be naive not to understand the reason for existence of a state called Pakistan - to claim to be a fundamentalist Sunni State above and over Saudi Arabia. The fundamentalist role model. If Those Mullahs could show two finger to Amirkhans, Chinese would be more Kafirs than the Americans. Chinese strategy of wooing Muslims would ultimately backfire ! It may take time but history is witness to this threat to the Chinese civilisation.

I am sure it will be less restive than those in India because they Chinese are but a ruthless lot.

And the Maoist help from China is well established.

It is time India realises that it is silly to be a good boy and instead must help the Uighurs and Tibetan the same way China is helping the non fundamentalist Muslim terrorist organisations.

It is not good enough to bolster the defences and exert India's right to assist nations in oil exploration.

India must teach the Chinese a wee bit as to how we too can play the game!
