Trying to convince badguy about freedom in China is like forcing a 'dumb' person to speak. They are inherently like that, we can't change them.

PS: dumb = (of person) unable to speak
the fact is more eloquent than any theory.

when " democracy can not bright your country out of mess and poverty, then any persuasion how great and superior "democracy" is would be doomed to be in vain.

if you really want to prove the greatness of democracy, pls prove domoracy can save e your country first.

Soviet and east europe collapsed ,not because west "democracy" was:blum3: so great, but because the Soviet-style socialism was too flawed!

Is there even a point in arguing with you when you are too dumb to even know what democracy is all about in the first place?

Also, China is a third world country. Your country is so fucked up that little kids are drinking poisoned milk and your factories are making lead poisoned toys for kids world over to give them slow death. You have occupied Tibet illegally, killed so many innocents. Oh and did I mention that you are exporting fake medicines labelled as MADE IN INDIA? Tip of the iceberg..

So yeah, you are pretty much living in the shitter as well. We are all. Enjoy your hallucinations though, cause they are what makes you YOU.

yes, India is a perfect country without any fake and piracy.

So Indian have own full moroality highland ,havn't them?

however, as reported widely, India army was once provided with food ,that is only fit for cattles. of course, that is the masterpiece of indian's capable civil servants.
It was once reported that Chinese army crapped and slept in manholes. I don't have a reputed source for this just like you but hey, everyone here deals with your made up sources so they can deal with mine.

PS: Thanks for accepting (finally) that India is better, a perfect country. First step is acceptance.

Even though personally I think there is some piracy here and we can use improvements in a lot of areas. I don't exactly know what "fake and" is but, I am not developed enough to understand your engrish. So anyways, thanks for admitting we are better.

EDIT: Awww, his post was deleted. Oh well, he is insulting me through PM so I am going to have to deal with him in private.

Easy. You are not sitting pretty either as a country. I can sit here badmouthing either country all day, and it won't help the conversation. Cool your head, and again, can you tell me how China occupied Tibet illegally? As far as I'm aware, no country considers Tibet to be illegal territory of China. Just making a point not to get carried away.

Lemme introduce you to my friend called sarcasm.

Why would you badmouth your own country anyway?

Ok. Point accepted, but I've heard this "illegal Tibet" claim many times here. It's just not true, not even to India.

China Requires Censorship Software on New PCs

By ANDREW JACOBS
BEIJING —
In recent months China has tightened its Internet restrictions, including an “antivulgarity” campaign that has closed down thousands of pornographic sites but also nonsexual sites, including some of the most popular bulletin boards and blog hosts. China already employs more than 30,000 censors and thousands who “guide public opinion” by flooding bulletin boards with comments favorable to the Communist Party.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/09/wo...9china.html?hp
So, CCP employed guys to 'guide public opinion' by flooding forums with comments favorable to the CCP.......I am sure BadGuy/Koji is not hired .

Anyway, whats new with this news? CCP is trying to censor 'unfavourable' discussions and news, didnt we all know about it already? If Chinese guys find it tolerable, then why should anyone else have any prob? And why are we comparing Indian democracy and Chinese autocracy? We live with democracy( even though there are umpteen number of defects in it), similarly, chinese live with autocracy of CCP. Many of us dont have much of a choice, anyway.

I think chinese have traded their freedom for the wealth that CCP has promised them. If and when CCP cant hold their end of bargain, then chinese will also not hold their end of the bargain. Its their nation, let them do whatever they want with it. If they like, they can carry out 'Tianamen Square' everyday......
My only grouse with CCP is that they seem to have hegemonic objectives that collide directly with Indian interests and security. Beyond that if CCP decides to kill only those chinese men who have a d!ck, I wouldnt care.......

Am I really reading this? A Chinese person finally criticizing their government? Are you sure you're Chinese? Maybe you're from Hong Kong....those people are a little more open minded. Most opinions we hear on the net from chinese people appear to support the CCP regardless of what they do. All one sided.

China's PC Censorship Software Blocks More than Sex

China's PC Censorship Software Blocks More than Sex

The controversial new software blocks political and religious websites and is "far more intrusive" than other content control software, say OpenNet researchers

By Dylan Bushell-Embling

China's new Green Dam filtering program blocks far more content than pornography, despite the MIIT's claims, that it is to protect youth from obscene content, the OpenNet initiative said.

Instead the program filters political and religious content, and is "far more intrusive" than any other content control software the initiative has reviewed, OpenNet researchers said.

"[Green Dam is] a substandard software product (much like chinese products :p) that interferes with the performance of personal computers in an unpredictable way, killing browsers and applications without warning while opening up users to numerous serious security vulnerabilities," the researchers said.

The program actively monitors computer behavior, terminating a wide range of programs if sensitive keywords are entered, said OpenNet, which is a joint project between Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge and other universities to monitor government internet surveillance.

For example, entering falundafa.org into browsers or even word processors such as Notepad results in these programs being closed automatically.

With just a single auto-update implementing a few changes to the code, Green Dam could be used to monitor personal communications and browsing behavior, the researchers said. Green Dam already creates log files, but these are stored locally.

OpenNet also called the plan to mandate the use of a particular software product a "questionable policy decision," despite China's decision to make the installation of the program voluntary.

Meanwhile, US software publisher Solid Oak Software is seeking an injunction preventing US companies from shipping software bundled with Green Dam, alleging part of the program was stolen from its CyberSitter filtering program.

Solid Oak has found pieces of its proprietary code in Green Dam, as well as a copy of instructions for updating the software, the company told Reuters.

The Chinese company behind the filtering software—Jinhui Computer Systems—denied any wrongdoing.

if you could read CHiinese ,you would find that CHinese internet is always full of criticism or complaint to CHinese government.

Of course , You would find most criticism or complaint are aimed at local government.

Generally speaking ,Chinese center government is quite popular ,maybe becauce it is too far away from people daily life.

There's no way to really find out, is there? After all, all your media is owned by the government. You expect them to write bad things about themselves? :D

private chatting room, internet community and forum are very active in CHina.

it is impossible for Chinese government to control all.

internet changes china a lot.

and out of 1.3 billion, how many Chinese go on the internet? And of the internet literate, how many actually visit discussion forums? Maybe the "Green Dam" seeks to ban just this behaviour. :)

the oler generation of CHinese are no so interested in internet. but I do think that 80+% of Chinese who is less 35 go on internet now.

In fact, most chinese netizens usually expresss their opinon on non-governmental forums, chatting room or QQ.

BTW,QQ is most popular real-time online communicating tool like ICQ in China. Almost every CHinese netizen has one or more ID of QQ.

Once news is broadcasted on QQ, it is impossible to censor or block it.

So you are saying that most of your population (over 80%) is about 35 years old ??? Somehow I think most members and available figures will dispute that claim vehemently...

So, you are saying that 80% of your population is less than 35 years of age???

That is, out of a population of 1.3 billion, over 1 billion (80%) are about 35 years of age???

If that is what you are saying then you are blatantly lying and the members here can prove it...
