Better idea would be to make the Tamil genocide known internationally and
support the Sri lankan Tamil cause diplomatically. Why should India take Tamils
back to India when they did not do the same for Punjabis,kashmiris,Bengalis,Tibetans
or NRI's in Afria and Fiji etc...?

Let's not be too bellicose a naval blockade of 1 or 2 Sri Lankan ports would
be enough to ruin the economy. Use the same argument as China that Sri Lanka
is going in Indian waters which they claim are international waters.

China does not have the resources for a warsaw type pact. Russia at the time of
Warsaw pact was spending 35% of their GDP on defense and allies and their
economy did not depend on exports. If Chinese decide on a warsaw pact against
the west(iran,pakistan,north korea) walmart stops buying Chinese products -75%
of their exports and China is finished.

Sir,with due respect don't you think that the SL has been back stabbing our country for the last 4 decades(in '71 they supported pakistan and now they are cozying up with china).so i think its about time we deal with this potential threat once and for all and divide their country into two parts thereby ending the potential chini threat.just my 2 cents!

They have been but do not mix emotions with politics but placing soldiers
in Lanka would be an act of war best way would be to start weakening them economically
ports,fishing,trade etc...
