Intersting, people have to find more than one origins for Chinese weapons, which means Chinese weapons are getting more and more unique.

It isn't a weapon, it is a tech demonstrator which means Chinese weapons are still poor performing clones.

Considering the scale of achievement in space race Russians had accomplished, I am gonna say China is just doing fine by repeating what has been done by Russians. After all, there aren't many countries capable of doing that so far.

There aren't many countries who want to reinvent the wheel either. China is doing just fine wasting trillions on unprofitable ventures.

Great Britain does not exist anymore. Yes, when the British Empire consisted of all her colonies, it was said the Sun never sets in the Queen's realm, because yes, it existed in multiple continents.

Also, The USSR, and Russia, were a contiguous and politically equivalent collection of republics, unlike Britain which had different status for UK and the rest of her territories.

But we are talking about Russia as a whole.

This is exactly the potential pitfall I am trying to point out from insisting that Russia is an Asian country just because part of its territory is in Asia. The UK example is valid since the Falkland Islands is under its sovereignty (it's legally called a "British Overseas Territory").
